Veterinary Surgeon – Full or Part Time

My client is looking for a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical and communication skills, ready to take the next step in their career. If you have solid experience in a first opinion setting and are seeking a role that offers genuine scope for growth, this could be the perfect opportunity.
You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team in a well-equipped practice where your professional development and wellbeing are truly valued. Ideally located just 15 to 20 minutes from central Cardiff, giving you easy access to the city’s vibrant restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions, while also offering free onsite parking for a stress-free commute.
They can offer full or part-time hours, from 25 to 40 hours a week, and are happy to accommodate a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle. The role includes one in three Saturday mornings (9am to 1pm), but no Sundays, no out-of-hours duties, and no overnight inpatient checks—helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In return, they offer a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £50,000 FTE depending on experience. You’ll benefit from a generous CPD allowance with support for certificate study, paid professional memberships, a contributory pension scheme, and access to exclusive company and high street discounts. They also place a strong emphasis on wellbeing and host regular social events to keep the team connected and supported.
