Our client based near Crystal Palace has a great opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their amazing team. 

This is a thriving 2 site RCVS Accredited practice in South London, established 90 years.  Situated in a lovely part of South London, the practice is surrounded by parks, museums, and galleries and has excellent transport links via train and tube to all the other sights of London within 20 mins, and only 1 hour away from the Brighton coast.

This is a very well equipped practice with digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound and multi-parameter monitors at both clinics. You will always be surrounded by fantastic support; working as part of this cohesive team who are always keen to share knowledge. 

The team is currently a team of 7 wonderful Vets with a wide range of interests, 2 have Feline Medicine Certificates, plus 9 RVNs and support staff. This is a very family friendly team in a happy, positive, and supportive workplace. They will always encourage and support your development into any areas you want to go into.

The role is an average 5 days a week, with 1 in 6 Saturdays consulting only 9-5pm with the following Friday and weekend off. No OOH. No Sundays. 
The days are split to consults in the morning and surgery in the afternoon or vice versa - in order to keep the variety for all vets. 

The ideal canddiate will have a minimum of 12 months experienced and have a passion for small animals, and as the role entails a mix of first opinion consulting and surgical caseload you will need to be competent and confident in your ability. You will have full clinical freedom and will be able to work up your cases from start to finish.

Salary £60,000 dependent on experience with enhanced CPD allowance and a generous relocation allowance of up to £5k.  A wide range of benefits are on offer including 5 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays, 5 days paid CPD leave, £1250 CPD Allowance per annum, Private Medical Insurance, VDS Membership paid and BVA Membership paid.
