Veterinary Surgeon – Brand New Practice
This is your chance to be involved from the very beginning. My client is opening a brand-new, purpose-built veterinary surgery in West Sussex and are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeons to help shape the practice from day one.
Located close to the Ashdown forest, the surgery has been carefully designed to support exceptional clinical standards while offering a bright, modern and enjoyable place to work. You’ll be joining a collaborative, supportive team where your ideas are welcomed and your contribution genuinely matters.
The practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology, providing a varied first-opinion caseload that allows you to use your current skills to their full potential. At the same time, they are committed to helping you grow — whether through funded CPD, support for further qualifications, or long-term career progression.
The Role
They are looking for a proactive and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a fast-paced, progressive environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient and client care. This role offers the opportunity to be hands-on in all aspects of the practice and to play a key part in its ongoing development.
Both full-time and part-time options are available. They are happy to discuss flexible working patterns that support a healthy work–life balance. Some weekend work will be required, but there are no out-of-hours responsibilities.

You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £75,000 (dependent on experience and hours), The benefits package also includes a generous CPD allowance, 5.6 weeks’ annual leave rising to 6.6 weeks after two years, plus an additional day off for your birthday.
