My fantastic client are currently seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with experience in Diagnostic Imaging to join a dedicated team in their 24-Hour Hospital, located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time position, though they are happy to consider part-time applicants and offer flexibility where possible.
You’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment with a passionate Lead Vet, Head Nurse, and Practice Manager, as well as a skilled team of Clinical Vets, RVNs, SVNs, and admin staff. They also have a fully operational night team of experienced vets and nurses providing 24-hour out-of-hours care.
The site is well-equipped with 24-hour hospitalization facilities, separate wards for dogs, cats, exotics, and isolation cases, and three operating theatres with updated surgical equipment. Including advanced diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, Doppler, digital x-ray, a range of digital endoscopes, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy, ECG, and a CT suite and they also offer hydrotherapy, an underwater treadmill, and laser therapy.

As a Veterinary Surgeon with us, you’ll deliver outstanding care to patients and clients, maintain high standards of clinical and operational compliance, and prepare tailored treatment plans. You’ll also provide leadership within the practice, mentor and support your colleagues, and ensure smooth handovers for patients requiring ongoing or out-of-hours care.
They are looking for an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who is clinically experienced and confident working in a team. You should possess strong leadership skills, support nurse-led consultations and schedule 3 procedures, and foster a progressive clinical culture. Experience in coaching and influencing others to achieve their best is also important.
