About the Role
Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established and expanding team in Northwest London. This vacancy has arisen as one of the wonderful vets moves on after several fulfilling years
At this small animal practice, they provide exceptional care with a personal touch. The experienced, friendly team is united by a shared commitment to high clinical standards and compassionate service. They work cases up thoroughly and are looking for someone equally driven to provide the best for patients and their families.
Since being taken over three years ago, they have gone from strength to strength. Now a 3.5-vet team, they can offer a varied caseload and a close-knit working atmosphere. You'll be supported by:
- A Head Nurse who brings over 15 years of top-tier experience
- Two additional Registered Veterinary Nurses, a final-year Student Veterinary Nurse, and two Veterinary Care Assistants
- A full, capable reception team and a wonderful Practice Manager , who keeps everything running smoothly
Convenient Location
They're based in Northwest London, great for parking and commuting, just off the North Circular. Public transport? No problem! It’s a short walk from New Southgate Overground and Arnos Grove Underground stations. Bonus: the brand-new M&S Food Hall next door means lunch is always a treat.
What They’re Looking For
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
- Confident with routine GP duties and solid surgical skills
- Ultrasound experience is a plus (but not essential)
- Open to developing a clinical interest—they’ll fund certificates!
- Ideally full-time (38 hrs across 4 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays, no Sundays or OOH), but part-time applications welcome
- Strong communication and a collaborative mindset
- Passion for patient care and professional growth
- Up to £75,000 salary (dependent on experience, full-time equivalent)

- 5.6 weeks’ holiday, increasing to 6.6 weeks with service
