This an RCVS accredited practice, with branches in Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and Mildenhall. This position would be based in one of two branches, which are in great locations surrounded by beautiful countryside. Based in Bury St Edmunds known for its history, its beautiful outside spaces, it’s great mix of independent & high street favourite shops and for being Suffolk’s Foodie Capital with its fantastic eateries. The practice is in a great position for getting into London, plus Cambridge and Norwich are under an hour away by car. There are good rail links to the rest of the UK and Stansted and Southend airports are both in easy reach.
Salary is £55,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience, plus you will be reimbursed with extra pay for out-of-hours work and second on-call weekend duties.
- Full-time – 4 days per week (36 hours)
- OOH rota– 1 in 10-12 weekends
- Weekday evenings – inpatient duties only, no client calls
- Weekends – Saturday 8.30am-5pm, Sunday 9am – 12pm, with a Friday off the week after
- Generous £1750 CPD allowance (plus 4 days), although will consider over this level
- RCVS & VDS fees paid plus one professional membership of your choice (eg BVA/BSAVA etc)
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday (including Bank Holidays)
