Located in a stunning, rural part of East Yorkshire, this Tier 3 hospital has a stellar local reputation and provides OOH services for several surrounding practices—so no two nights are the same. The practice itself sits in scenic countryside with curated gardens—perfect for peaceful breaks during your shift.
They are a forward-thinking and well-equipped hospital offering:
• 24-hour care with dedicated wards for dogs, cats, exotics, and isolation
• Three operating theatres, ultrasound, digital x-ray, doppler, endoscopy (digital, rhino, arthro), CT suite
• In-house lab, ECG, hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill, and laser therapy
You’ll be working alongside an experienced night RVN and have full support from a wider team that includes Clinical Director, Head Nurse, additional Vets, RVNs, SVNs, PCAs, and administrative staff.

Looking For
• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, or a confident vet with 12+ months
• Comfortable with sole charge and confident making timely clinical decisions
• Solid surgical skills and a genuine interest in emergency and critical care
• A calm, collaborative and positive approach under pressure

Your Package
Salary: Up to £50,000
CPD: £1,500 + 3 paid CPD days annually
Relocation Allowance: £2,000
