Full Time Small Animal Vet required within an experienced team, from recent graduates up

Our client who is based near Middlesbrough is looking for a full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join the successful and friendly practice.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic full time vet to join their incredible  Vet, 3 Nurses and full administrative team, who are committed to providing the best medical and surgical care.  This is a dedicated, kind team that work hard to establish solid bonds with clients and their pets, continually striving to provide a consistent caring service, no matter what challenges they face. They understand and demonstrate that through regular structured team and department communications, where your voice will be heard, that they will evolve and develop together as a team supporting each other.

The Practice is well established and flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases. They have the usual day to day diagnostics such as otoscope, ophthalmoscope, tonometer, microscopy, glucometer, and in addition to this digital radiography, in house catalyst, lasercyte & sedivue, ultrasound and a good range of orthopedic equipment primarily for fracture fixation. Your working day will also have time built in for admin and client prescriptions, time that is often missed off from traditional ways of working, but paramount in being part of what is needed to provide the clinical care and service that is needed by today’s clients.

A high proportion of the practice clients are insured, and they also offer financial assistance via Klarna as well as having a PDSA local to eligible clients. They are also spoilt with 3 world class referral centers within an hour’s drive for clients giving them the choices they may need, all with whom they have an excellent rapport. The client can offer high level of support and ongoing education with excellent continued professional development opportunities. 

Full time position available 40 hour working week (4 day week) and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9-12.30pm). There are no OOH with this role with the working day finishing 7pm.  Salary negotiable commensurate with experience. They are flexible to look at part time options too weekends can also be negotiable and they are happy to look at sponsorship and relocation if required. This would suit a recent graduate or someone who is developing in practice, happy with a little surgery and basic routine GP work. They can also consider consult only roles and working patterns can be moulded around your other commitments
