Our client has a group of five GP clinics in the Birmingham area who are now looking for a Full Time Small Animal Clinical Director to join them.
The clinic boasts state-of-the-art surgical and lab facilities, including digital x-ray, comprehensive lab analyser suites, and ultrasound. Situated within a 20-minute drive of each other, the clinics form a close-knit network serving the Birmingham and Black Country region. They prioritise continuous learning, with team members striving towards certifications. A dedicated career pathway for the support teams fosters professional growth. The collaboration with the local team provides access to a range of resources such as CT, MRI, and a range of certificate holders.
They recognise that this role demands dedication and resilience. Rest assured, they’re committed to supporting you on this journey. While having small animal practice experience is key, prior management experience is advantageous.
The position will be clinically at one site, but the role will be a multi-site position across the 5 clinics. There are approximately 35 employees with each branch having a Lead RVN. Within the Clinical Director position, part of the role will involve assisting with the finances, aiming to meet targets and keep everything running smoothly. On the clinical side, you'll help maintain high standards, ensuring they meet industry regulations and provide top-notch care to their animal patients.
Additionally, you'll promote continuous professional development for the clinical staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. They're committed to equal opportunities and diversity, and we're looking for someone who shares these values to join the team.
This full-time position entails a 4-day week, providing clinical contributions from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with no weekend or out-of-hours duties.
