Our client’s practice is well located in the north of Wolverhampton, they are now looking for a full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.

The practice is easily accessible from all areas of the West Midlands and sits just minutes away from Staffordshire and Shropshire.  Wolverhampton train station is 15 minutes away and Birmingham Airport just 40mins. 

The practice has 2 operating theatres, Idexx lab, Digital Microscope, Ultrasound, Laparoscopic kit, dental x-ray. They are also a training practice for Student Veterinary Nurses and a new graduate vets. The hospital is fully equipped with a CT scanner, digital X-ray, lab, endoscope, etc.

Our client would especially love to hear from a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in laparoscopic surgery. They will provide the support and mentorship to build your skills and development, and certificate study in this field is also offered and encouraged. There will also be an opportunity to work at the main Hospital in Wolverhampton for one day a week. This will enable you to undertake more detailed medical work and surgery alongside the team of Certificate Holders/Advanced Practitioners. This allows you to also book your own cases in for your hospital day to work up with support and greater access to equipment. The client and the team are passionate about allowing you to discover a workplace that adapts to your needs and empowers you to achieve the perfect balance between work and life. There are no out of hours with this role. The rota would generally be working between 9am and 
7.00pm worked over days, with a 1 in 5 Saturday rota from 9am to 4pm.
