Our client is a well-established RCVS training practice with a good reputation looking after the veterinary needs of a large and loyal client base since 1989. The cities of Bristol, Newport and Cardiff are all within a reasonable commute of the practice, along with the beautiful South Wales coastline, the Forest of Dean and Brecon Beacons. The modern, well-equipped practice boasts Bio-Chemistry and Haematology Idexx machines, Digital x-ray processors, dental machines and multiparameter monitors.
The client is looking for either a small animal vet or a Senior Vet to join their team. Are you ready to advance in your career but are not quite ready for a CD role, then our client would love to hear from you.
This vacancy has arisen due to two long-term Vets retiring. Whilst they built the team to 3 Vets, you will initially be sole charge however you will have the support of an experienced CD from a neighbouring practice. You will also be supported by the friendly team of RVNs (one is working towards Emergency and Critical care cert), Practice Manager (certificate in Feline Nursing) and brilliant reception team. They pride themselves on their communication and job satisfaction, communication and support available to work towards your goals.
Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours per week over 4 days with 1:4 Saturday morning (9:00am-13:00pm). The client would also welcome part time applicant, for example 1-3 days per week. There is no OOH.
Salary up to £75,000 DOE, plus up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus, plus up to £5,000 Relocation.
