Our client, a well-established veterinary practice in North Wales, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Job Description:
As a Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will primarily be responsible for the healthcare and welfare of dairy cows, beef cattle, and sheep. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting routine check-ups and preventative care for farm animals.
  • Diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses.
  • Providing herd health management and advice to local farmers.
  • Assisting with calving, lambing, and other reproductive procedures.
  • Conducting surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all treatments and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A qualified and registered Veterinary Surgeon with a focus on farm animals.
  • Strong knowledge of dairy, beef, and sheep farming practices.
  • Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for farm animal health and welfare.
  • Willingness to work as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
