Lead Veterinary Surgeon

My Client are seeking an experienced, well-rounded Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team. This role is ideal for a vet confident in all aspects of first-opinion practice—including surgery, consulting, and working sole charge—who is ready to inspire and lead a dedicated team.
The loyal and engaged client base is passionate about their pets, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships and thoroughly work up cases with the support of excellent in-house facilities.

About the Practice:
A modern clinic is fully equipped to support high-quality care:
• Digital and dental x-ray (gold standard dental surgery)
• State-of-the-art ultrasound
• In-house laboratory
• Class 4 laser therapy
• Dedicated orthopaedic theatre for a wide range of ortho and soft tissue procedures
You’ll also have seamless support from a close by 24-Hour Hospital, providing enhanced care and advanced facilities for your cases.
Located just a short walk from Notting Hill Gate, Bayswater, and Royal Oak Underground stations, surrounded by a thriving community, boutiques, and world-famous cafes.

Your Role:
• Lead clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures
• Support, develop, and mentor your team
• Contribute to a positive and progressive clinical culture
• Oversee daily operations in collaboration with the Practice Manager
• Maintain high standards of clinical, operational, and regulatory compliance
• Play an active role in driving the clinic’s commercial performance

About You:
• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Proven clinical leadership skills and a passion for team development
• Experienced in both consulting and surgery
• Committed to delivering an exceptional client experience
• Confident in driving clinical standards and best practices
• Commercially astute with experience managing clinical resources effectively
