Experienced or newly qualified RVN - 4 mins walk to the Piccadilly Line Tube Station

Our client is a well-established group of three small animal practices who are just a four minutes’ walk from the Piccadilly line tube station. They are looking for a full or part time RVN to join their friendly team.

The client is situated in West London with excellent transport links to London and for wider travel. They have a well-equipped surgery which includes digital x-ray machine, ultrasound and multi parameter anaesthetic monitoring. You will enjoy working in an environment where your ideas are always valued and you are fully appreciated as part of the practice team.

The team are forward thinking and you will be working alongside the Head Nurse to support our three veterinary surgeons, providing high quality patient focused care to the community based surgery in West London. This is a full time position working 4 days a week with 1:3 Saturdays (with time off in lieu) and no OOH’s. The client encourage their nurses to utilise all their skills from running nurse clinics, anaesthetic monitoring, caring for hospitalised day patients including IV fluid set up and maintenance and the taking/running of laboratory samples to stock ordering and general administrative tasks.

This position would suit a recent graduate but also suitable for a more experienced candidate. The ideal candidate would be willing to mentor our student veterinary nurse as there would be a possibility to train as a clinical coach. The ability to work under own initiative whilst being part of a team is essential.  Salary is up to £384k pa dependent on experience.
