Our client has an opportunity for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, RCVS accredited small animal practice in Thornton Heath, Greater London.

You will join a team of like-minded and dedicated professionals that always strive to provide a relaxed and friendly service and the highest standards of care. Not only that, you will also become a valued member of a highly supportive team and practice where everyone’s ideas and contributions count. You will be working alongside an experienced Vet with some sole charge in the afternoons.

The practice was first launched in 1982 and since then they have been committed to providing quality veterinary care in an approachable atmosphere. Both practices have great facilities and passionate teams across both sites.  There is a generous CPD budget and they actively encourage the team to branch out into areas of their special interests, and to thrive to the best of their abilities. Having made strong bonds in their communities over the decades, they take every opportunity to get involved and to give back, including providing services to several local charities and outreach work.  Work-life balance is important – as they’re a sociable bunch who like to enjoy nights out as a team and importantly they make sure that the treat cupboards are kept full of sweet treats!

This is a full-time or part-time position with no OOH or on-call. Salary is between £40,000 and £58,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience. Part-time: 20-30 hours a week over 2 or 3 full days (8:30-6:30). Full-time: 4 days a week, 8:30-6:30, Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri and 1:3 Saturday mornings (8:30-12:00) but no out of hours or on-call

Situated in Thornton Heath, Greater London, they are in a great location for exploring all that the capital has to offer – from world class musicals and concerts to top attractions plus a plethora of fabulous bars and restaurants to enjoy in your downtime. For the outdoors lovers there are the beautiful 8 Royal Parks to explore and enjoy. There are wonderful transport links with airports and train services right on the doorstep.
