    Our client is a well-respected independent group of 4 practices who is looking for a new practice manager to join team. The last 4 years have been an exciting period of growth for the group who have grown significantly. They have now developed a clear growth strategy for the next 4 years. The plan includes the appointment of a key operations manager with customer service focus to support the business growth and help deliver the plan. The new Practice Manager is an exciting & vital role and will report straight to the CEO. Job overview: As the Practice Manager you will be involved in all areas of the operational running of the practice. Your responsibility will be for direct reports at all four sites. You will need to ensure the smooth running of the operation, making certain that clients are happy, clinical staff are supported, while effectively managing and developing operational staff. Team building, motivation and mentoring will feature in your key attributes. Ensuring that our infrastructure (systems, IT, good housekeeping etc) supports the business growth plan will be a key element of your remit. Key focus Customer Service – ensure we really do provide consistent first-class customer service Clinical Team Support Drive our practice standards on an on-going basis Reviews / 1:1’s with staff HR Management– recruitment, people development, resource rotas, contracts, Health & Safety. Identifying staff training needs I.T. – ensure platform works now and help drive improvements in the future Housekeeping – ensure presentation, buildings and facilities are fit for purpose Supplier Management – build strong relationships with key suppliers Event Management – work with the Marketing team to support events and campaigns Drive Change – working with the new CEO to drive change across the organization Working within set KPI’s Agreeing with CEO quarterly objectives and reporting on them in the following quarter Must have a real can-do attitude and inspire staff to fulfill their potential, through mentoring Full time role with a flexible working pattern for the right candidate Key skills / attributes: Good people management skills – clear, understanding, good listener, delegator Command respect through clear and calm management Great organisational skills Able to work in the senior team – CEO, Head of Finance, Marketing Exec Enthusiastic and happy to take a key role in a busy & growing practice IT literate - competent with all microsoft packages Veterinary Practice Management experience preferred This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced customer service individual to work in a clearly defined role, where you will be able to have a real impact on the growth of the business.
