    Our client is a busy 24 hour, RCVS accredited tier 3 veterinary hospital based near Barnet. The team pride themselves on delivering gold standard care for every patient. The successful candidate will be working in a fully equipped hospital with laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, fully equipped in house lab, isolation and separate dog and cat ward. They are also an ISFM GOLD cat friendly practice and a rabbit friendly practice. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills. You will be working in all areas of the hospital from theatre, anaesthesia, diagnostics, wards inpatient care and dispensary; with a wide variety of cases and lots of hands on nursing. Full time RVNs work a variety of shifts on a rota basis. Four day weeks, approximately 1 in 3-4 weekends, with time off in lieu and 4 night shifts every 12 weeks. Ideally you will be registered and have experience working in a hospital or similar environment. However the role is suitable for anyone looking to develop their nursing skills. The client is in partnership with Vetsnow, who looks after the OOH’s on site. They have approximately 100 team members across 7 sites.     Our client, located between Chatham and Gillingham in Kent, are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. They take pleasure in being able to offer a full range of first opinion veterinary services at affordable prices, without compromising on care. The practice is in a superb location being just a 5 minute walk from Norbury train station. The clinic has light, large and airy consult rooms, dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room; modern theatre and prep area; in house lab; dental machine and separate cattery and kennels. Time is allocated for admin on a daily basis to allow for calls etc which allows you to concentrate on your patients during consult time, without the pressure of needing to squeeze admin in between.     Our client has 3 clinics in the Inverness region. They are now looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Full Time Registered veterinary Nurse to join them. The clinics have lots of great equipment including multiparameter for all surgery, ADE, Doppler, clean and dirty ops theatres, separate dog, cat and isolation kennels plus much more and most recently a top of the range digital Xray. All of this allows the team to offer a comprehensive service to clients. Inverness is a great place to live and all the practices are based in areas that allow you to get out at lunchtime, whether its shopping, a walk in the woods or a peaceful walk down the canal. The airport here has great connections to the rest of the UK and a few places in Europe. Working across three practices, you will join the rest of the team working in rotation providing nurse consultations and peri-operative nursing. The consultations include the standard paediatric weigh & worming, post-operative checks, microchipping etc. In addition to the usual appointments, the nurses have the freedom to create and deliver targeted appointments such as: weight management, geriatric cat consults (silver whiskers), behavioural and desensitisation and many more. Whatever your passion is, they will encourage you. There are four surgical theatres and you will be involved in a wide variety of surgeries. The client is always looking to develop their nurses in areas of their interest and are happy to support you through courses to enhance your skills. For working out of hours you will be compensated with long weekends. Working up to 40 hours per week across 5days (full time basis, part time can be considered). Shifts are between 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm Friday and 8am to 4pm on a Saturday, OOH once a week or once and fortnight and 1:9 weekends on call and the other is a hospital weekend for any remaining inpatients.
