    Our client on the outskirts of Yeovil are looking for an experienced vet (or vets) to add to their existing small animal team at their practice close to the M5 and A303 The team work between two branches, the main surgery and the branch surgery, both within easy reach due to good road links. The position can be adapted to suit your needs in both location and hours; to fit around your life outside work. There will be some sole charge and you will need to be confident in both routine and emergency work but they are in the process of transferring all of their OOH work to an OOH provider so there will be no on-call. The team will still maintain care of their inpatients on a case by case basis, those with more intensive needs can be transferred for ongoing night care. The weekend and night rota for inpatient care will be 1:4. This rota will include a Saturday morning surgery and attention to inpatients as required. They often have no inpatients so, many weekends and evenings will be work free. The nursing team is made up of 4 RVN's and 2 SVN's. There is always a nurse available to help with inpatients. The role will be a mixture of consulting and surgery, any interests you have will be supported and would fully encourage a certificate in your chosen area. Consults are 15 minutes, the last of the day booked 45 minutes before they close at 6.30pm, meaning they are rarely late leaving. A competetive salary is on offer, in line with experience and hours worked. Holiday allowance will be 20 days pro rata + bank holidays.     This mixed animal practice, based just 25 minutes south of Leicester, are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join their team.     Our client in the Kings Lynn area would like an additional veterinary surgeon, ideally with around 12 months or more experience to join them. The successful candidate will share their time between the three practices. Some of the time will be sole charge and some will be working alongside the more experienced vets. When working sole charge, more experienced vets are always available on the phone of cases can be forwarded to the main branch. Candidates need to be comfortable with basic surgeries, medical workups and lab diagnostics. All the practices are well equipped first opinion sites with digital x-ray, ultrasound etc. Between the three practices, they see a very wide variety of cases.
    Our Norfolk based hospital have a vacancy for an experienced vet to join their team Their ideal candidate would have an interest or certificate in Exotics As the main hospital supporting a number of branches, this practice sees an exceptionally high and varied caseload. For those candidates who haven't yet started or are part way through certificates, there is ample caseload to support all disciplines. As well as being superbly equipped for small animal work, Endoscopy, Digital X-ray, quality ultrasound etc. They also have lots of exotics equipment, such as small ultrasound probe and endoscopy and dental kit as well as a dedicated exotics ward. This will be really attractive for those vets with an exotics interest. The successful Candidates will be joining a 7 vet team and will be happy with routine surgeries and working up their own medical cases. Candidates from 12 months experience up to any small animal certificates looking to take in internal and external referral work would be considered for this role.     Our client based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales are looking for a full time experienced veterinary surgeon to join their practice on a permanent basis. The team have 14 vets and 16 RVNs plus trainees and support staff over 3 sites. Each site is fully equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, dental and operating facilities. Enhanced facilities are available at the main surgery, and they have recently invested in a video endoscope, arthroscope and a laparoscope. The vets in the team are very experienced and have certificate holders in medicine, cardiology and surgery, and nurses doing diplomas in anaesthesia, ECC and hydrotherapy. The team also pride themselves on offering their own inpatient and OOH service to all their clients. The ideal candidate will want to work a full time 40 hours over 4 days, but the team are also open to discussing part-time hours for the right individual. The role will suit a certificate holder, or someone interested in studying for a certificate, as the team see a wide and interesting case load backed up by a large proportion of insured clients. The OOH commitment would be based around 1-5, with time off in lieu. You will have a minimum of 1 years UK experience and achieved a starting salary of around 34,000. More expereinced vets will be rewarded comfortably and fairly with a highreer salary.     Our client in Essex would like to welcome an additional veterinary nurse to join their team. Working with a large team of vets, including multiple certificate holders in the main hospital, they will see a large variety of cases and be actively involved in their own clinics. In addition to time spent in the main hospital, the successful candidate wwill also work in one of the branches. The hospital and branches are very well equipped centers offering full veterinary care. All have digital x-ray and ultrasound. The rota is worked on a 40 hour week basis and shifts vary, the earliest start being 7:30am, the latest finish being 7.30pm. Saturday mornings are on a 1 in 6 or 7 basis. There is also a voluntary requirement to work full weekends, but this is paid overtime and nurses can work as few or as many as they like.

The Lead Nurse role is key to the business ability to provide a high level of clinical standards. As the Team Lead you will ensure that patients are managed as effectively as possible from a nursing perspective, you will support the profitability and further growth of the practice, work enthusiastically with your team and help maintain a happy, efficient working environment whilst providing outstanding patient and client care. Approximately 95% of the role will be clinical duties, allowing for 5% of your time for admin that comes with the role. You will work with the Clinical Nursing Manager to help support the identification, prioritisation and implementation of learning, development and CPD for nurses in your team where required. You will ensure all new nurses entering the business are supported to complete their induction and provide effective line management to those in your team including regular feedback to the Clinical Nursing Manager who can ensure mentoring, coaching and development discussions where needed. It will be necessary to carry out Nurse appraisals if and when required by the Clinical Nursing Manager for those who work as part of your team and participate in external CPD appropriate to your role plus any training in-house, ensuring post-training feedback forms are completed/cascade of relevant information to appropriate team member. You will need to have at least 1 years post RVN registration experience and be an excellent listener who is pro-active and well organised with the ability to multitask, plan and prioritise effectively in accordance with the business needs. You will need to have an eye for detail and the ability to manage projects through to completion whilst meeting deadlines and targets, and have the ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisions that benefit the whole team and not individuals.     This forward thinking, independent client in Milton Keynes have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their family owned, independent veterinary group on a permanent basis. The position will require an experienced veterinary surgeon who wants a practice to run as their long term future. There will be no management requirements as the Practice Manager and Owner cover these responsibilities but you will need to get involved and help to grow the site and maintain its high standards. This is a sole charge, full-time position running alongside their experienced part-time surgeon.
