    Our client is looking for a full or part time mixed vet to join their friendly and supportive team in well-equipped premises in the beautiful West Highlands of Scotland.

    The role is 80% small animal, 20% beef/sheep and a small amount equine. Full or part time hours will be considered for the right candidates.

    You will be encouraged to deliver a high standard of care and there is every opportunity to follow your own cases and build excellent client rapport. 1 in 5 OOH rota, 4.5 day week.     You will have a good idea of the day-to-day requirements of being a great Mixed Practice Veterinarian. Here are just a few of the key tasks that you will be contributing to, together with the rest of the team:
    • Examine small animal, horse and farm animals to diagnose their health problems and recommend best practice treatment. The work is 70% small animal, 20% dairy cattle and 10% horses and farm animals. This position will involve a greater percentage of herd health work than outlined above.
    • Consult with clients regarding preventive care.
    • The ability to lead by example, and deliver internal skills training to junior veterinarians and the nursing team.

    A successful candidate will have a genuine care for animals large and small, fellow team members and customers. You will have an enquiring and inquisitive mind and understand that attention to detail and documentation is as essential as great diagnostic expertise.
    A strength in dairy practice with a wide range of mixed practice skills will be highly regarded.

    Due continued success our client is looking to expand their team in all areas for this truly mixed animal practice in North Devon. With this in mind they are looking to recruit a small animal vet, a mixed animal vet and finally a farm animal vet.

    The practice has two sites so you must be able to drive to provide maximum flexibility to the client. The practice is 70% SA and 30% LA, with the latter made up of modern dairy farms alongside more traditional work with beef, sheep, horses and some small holders. The client have a great team of committed vets, including four certificate/diploma holders, alongside their fantastic nursing and support staff, and a great range of diagnostic equipment. There will be excellent support for candidates who want to expand their knowledge and gain experience from a varied caseload.

    The roles will include some out of hours on a 1:7 rota but the practice is keen support time off to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

    Our client is looking for a full time mixed animal vet to join their friendly team near Cheltenham.

    This independent practice with 2 sites in North Gloucestershire currently have a team of 3 vets, 2 x RVN's, 2 x ANA's and additional support staff who cover both surgeries and so the ideal candidate needs to have a flexible approach to working at either / both sites. Driving is essential.

    Both of the surgeries are well equipped and so will allow you to work up your own cases and develop your surgery skills.

    This is a full time role with OOH on a rota basis. OOH is minimal with only the occasional LA call out (no small animal calls). This is a good working rota with generous time off fo covering OOH's.
    General split of cases is approximately 70% Small animal / 30% Large & equine.

    Our client require a Veterinary Surgeon with proven Managent/Commercial experience to join their team as a Regional Director. You will be looking after the needs of a group of practices helping to drive the business and clinically support the teams where required. You will be the link between the practice and the Head Office ensuring company standards in both care and service are met, staffing is at the correct level and company procedures are followed.

    An understanding of business process, finance, training and HR would be really useful in this role. Experience of leading a veterinary team, either clinically or in a management role would be desirable. A driving license is essential.

With the rota 1 night per week & 1 weekend in 5 will be on call.

    Small yet high quality veterinary team which is friendly and hard-working who provide consistency and care to the community. 4.5 Vet’s along with assistant nurses and a reception team allowing the practice to run with ease.

    Accommodation is available but no vehicle, however mileage will be paid.
