    Due to recent expansion our client is increasing their sales force in the UK. They are currently recruiting one Southern and one Northern Sales Executive.

    The successful candidate will manage an existing client base of veterinary practice who currently stock their products, as well as seek out new opportunities to develop sales on their areas. There is also the opportunity to seek out new potential pet retail business.

    The role will involve but will not be limited to:
    • Manage a positive relationship with an extensive client base of practices, to maintain contact and grow sales.
    • “Lunch and Learn” presentations to veterinary practice teams to promote the benefits of their products and to answer any queries practice teams may have.
    • Attend tradeshows aimed at both practices and pet owners on a frequent basis
    • Managing own diary to ensure practice visits are scheduled as required but to also allow time to “door knock” other potential clients whilst in an area to develop new business.
    • Offer telephone support as requested
    • Offer clinical support to colleagues and clients
    • Report on sales performance and personal achievements on a regular basis.
    • An interest in or experience in Equine treatments and therapies would be useful for one of the roles.

    The ideal candidate will be:

    • A qualified veterinary nurse with some experience or knowledge of the sales process. This could have been gained within or outside the veterinary field.
    • Happy to approach potential new clients
    • Able to manage their own workload and prioritise tasks.
    • As this is a homebased role, you will be self-motivated
    • Able to maintain relationships with clients
    • Able to readjust priorities at short notice.
    • Happy to spend expensed evenings away when and where required.

    Essential skills:
    • Qualified Veterinary Nurse, RCVS registration does not need to be current.
    • Current UK driving licence
    • Comfortable with routine computer programs, such as Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Outlook as well as CRM systems, like those used in veterinary practice.

    The candidates will be home based so would need to be "on patch"

    or good Small Animal Vet and they will make some internal changes.

    They have all the modern equipment 3 scanners, digital x ray, digital x ray developer, in house lab, CPD allowance and fully supported.

    Their OOH rota is 1:4 weekdays plus 1:6 weekends ;
    one short weekend = Friday 5:30pm to Saturday 1:00pm and
    one long weekend = Saturday 9:00am to Monday 8:30 am.
    When working the long weekend you would have the Wednesday before off plus a long weekend off after where you would finish at lunchtime on a Friday. (Often the Vets will group their long weekend off together over the 12 weeks and have one full day off on a Friday).

    Experienced mixed animal veterinary surgeon vacancy in traditional mixed practice based on the edge of lovely leafy green Herefordshire.
    The practice, which has been established in the area for over 60 years are seeking a new addition to the team to work in all areas of the business from small animal which will fill the majority of the role to both equine and farm disciplines.
    Purpose built facilities offer all routine services plus orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry etc with excellent equipment. Most of the Equine work is mainly ambulatory with fully mobile facilities but the practice have a rehabilitation stable suite on site. Farm work covers all aspects of farm and herd management.
    There would be a requirement for some OOH's and weekends on a rota but there could be some flexibility to consider part time.

    This truly mixed practice based in the beautiful area of Ceredigion, Wales are looking for a mixed animal vet to join their team of 6 vets on a full time basis. The vet team see a wide range of animals from Fresians's to ferrets and are supported by a team of animal care assistants and administration staff to ensure the best professional care for patients and clients alike.

    The team are ideally looking for a minimum of 12 months experience but are willing to look at all levels of experience as the team are able to support and nurture someone with less experience.

    Working full time over 4.5 days per week with 1:5 OOH (working Friday evening to Sunday morning dealing with inpatients and emergency surgery only).

    The split is approx 60% LA 30% SA 10% Equine and so a confident mixed animal vet would be preferred to step straight in and take on the caseload.

    Our client is looking for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join the well-established practice in the North East, Tyne and Wear. Small animal caseload of 85% and large animal 15%. Offering the best animal care with experienced and caring staff ensuring visits to the surgery pleasant from start to finish. OOHs will include one night on call per week with 2 vets always on call.

    1 IN 6 weekends will be a full weekend worked allowing 1-week day off in return on the following weekend (Monday or Friday) allowing a long weekend off. 1 in 3 Saturday morning but one of these is part of your full weekend. Some sole charge is included in the role at certain branches.

    They have cutting edge facilities including ECG, endoscopes, blood pressure machine, ultrasound, digital radiology etc and have access to a specialist imager and cardiologist.

    Accommodation and car, or allowances available (up to 10,000), plus a very generous holiday allowance. CPD encouraged and in house CPD is frequent. Funding is also generous.
