    They are a genuine mixed animal veterinary practice with two sites in Lake District and do regular referral work in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.

    There has been a veterinary practice on this site for over 60 years and the team currently have over 250 years of experience between them. The expert friendly team of 7 vets, 8 nurses and a supportive network of ACAs and Receptionists love nothing more than giving the best possible care to their patients, from rabbits to reindeer, dogs to donkeys or cats to cows the team do really see it all.

    This is a super friendly place to work with a wonderfully varied caseload and with the scenic Lake District literally on the doorstep there is surely no better place to be.

    The role if for a full time mixed animal vet to work a 4-day week, with a 1:5 on call rota giving you a great work life balance to explore the beautiful, scenic Lake District.

    You can expect a salary package of between 45,000-55,000+ depending on experience plus:

    Our client are an established 18 Vet, two site practice, and are looking for a Mixed Animal Vet with some experience to join them on a permanent basis.

    The practice is based on the outskirts of Glasgow, near Paisley, and looks after a wide range of animals from cattle, sheep, horses to dogs, cats, rabbits and everything in between inclduing the ever increasing exotic pets.
    Ideally you will have some small animal experience but this is not essential as there is an experienced team of Vets and Nurses on hand for support and guidance.

    The practice has all the usual equipment you would expect, including up to date dental equipment and DR dental radiography, in house lab, ultrasound, and digital x-ray at each site. They hold frequent in house and locally arranged CPD to suit your skill development, and has close links with Glasgow University and SAC. The team carry out several routine fertility visits with weekly/fortnightly scanning and have Beef and sheep farmer groups with regular social/remote meets. The large animal team have Bull/ram fertility equipment, along with a mobile scanner, X-ray unit and endoscope.

    They have a Ophthalmologist certificate holder and acupuncturists on site and host weekly visits from a diagnostic imaging specialist.
    This practice are located just 10 minutes away Glasgow Airport and a 20-minute drive to beautiful Loch Lomond to spend your many days off.


    This is a full time role with no routine sole charge, but you will be required to be the 2nd vet on call and senior Vet back up OOH when needed.
    The rota does involve working a week of nights, however you will then be entitled to a full week off following this, thus giving you another 5-6 weeks off per year!

    In addition to a generous salary, dependent upon experienced you will also be entitled to:

    Our client are searching for a proactive, enthusiastic, experienced farm Vet to join their friendly and supportive team of Vets at their friendly Head Office site just outside of Horsham, West Sussex.

    There is an equine practice, small animal referral centre and pharmacy all on the same site, in this low-risk TB area.

    The team see a varied client base ranging from commercial dairy, beef, small ruminant, and camelid, to small holders, open farms, colleges, and pet farm animals. Workload is a mix of routine fertility work, health planning, sick animal work and TB testing, with occasional animal/product exports. If you are interested in teaching and veterinary education, they routinely have farm rotation students from the University of Surrey.

    The Vets work on average a 1:4 rota with seasonal variation. There is a day off in lieu per weekend worked, and half-day once per week. There is an ATT employed to minimise TB workload for Vets.

    This client are looking for an experienced Farm Animal Vet to join their lovely team near the city of York. This is a seasonal beef and sheep practice with a growing camelid and goat client base. The work is varied with a high obstetrical and surgical case load. Export and TB work (LRA) is shared amongst the Vets.

    Our client in Northern Ireland are looking for a full-time veterinary surgeon to join their team working within their 1st opinion mixed practice consisting of small animal, farm, and equine caseloads.

    The current team of 13 vets and 8 nurses are based across 2 modern purpose-built surgeries in the beautiful foothills of the Mourne Mountains and all vets are encouraged to participate and develop in all areas of farm and domestic animal work. Farm work consists of dairy, sheep, and beef caseloads as we cover all local farms in the area, small percentage of equine work is also available as well as working on orthopaedics and dentals as well as all your usual SA cases.

    Our surgery facilities include all the usual: in-house labs, digital x-ray, ultrasound ECG and full orthopaedic equipment.
    The team also offer a 24-hour emergency service so gives you exposure to ECC cases.


    This is a full time role working 40 plus hours per week but consideration will also be given to part-time and job share applications. There is a 1:9 Out of Hours rota working alongside 9 other vets.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced as a mixed vet but new graduates can be considered as full support and training will be given. You must be RCVS registered, a company van will be provided so must hold a full, clean driving licence. Accommodation is available. CPD and further certification is supported.

    Salary is dependent on experienced and in addition benefits include: (subject to pro rata)

    This position would suit an ambitious candidate who wants to work with some of the best farmers in the UK. The majority of the dairy farmers have routine fertility visits and are used to receiving additional consultancy advice. A knowledge of the dairy industry and the challenges faced would be desirable. The ability to communicate clearly with the team and clients is a key attribute. Most important is a good positive attitude to get stuck in and make a difference on the clients’ farms. Ambitions to develop further services for farmers and to manage the farm department would be encouraged and supported.

    This is a permanent role with a mix of routine fertility visits, sick cow work, delivery of OV services and consultancy and advice delivery.
    The working week is 4.5 days; 8.30am - 6.30pm with an OOH rota of 1:6 weeknights and weekends.

    You will be joining a team of seven vets, three admin staff, and a few friendly dogs, in the beautiful Kent countryside. Fantastic access to the great outdoors with the North Downs and Weald of Kent AONB right on your doorstep.

    The work is a good mix of dairy, beef, sheep, camelids and other species. The team do their own TB testing (LRA) and also have a TB tester.
