After a ten-year career with department store group, House of Fraser I made the transition to the veterinary business back in 2005. Working as Partner Recruitment Manager for Vets4Pets, I was solely responsible for recruiting new vets to open new practices. Between 2005 and 2010 I helped the group double in size. Motivated by the success of the vets I’ve worked with and the management team at Vets4Pets I took the leap to realise my dream of running my own business. Our relationship was great and to this day I still carry out work for people I first met over a decade ago.

Our client in the beautiful area of County Durham require a 6th vet to join their team. The ideal candidate will have enough surgical experience to manage routine neuters and soft tissue work by themselves. Development support is available for more complex procedures.

Practice interests include:

  • Acupuncture
  • Racing dogs
There are no OOH's with this role and the rota is a 4.5 day week with only 1:5 weekends.
Our client in Cheshire are seeking a permanent night vet to work in their dedicated OOH's service. They are happy to consider any working pattern to fit in with experienced night vets. You will be working sole charge as is always the case with OOH's role but will have RVN's working along side. Patient history is available for all practice clients, regardless of base practice.
Our independent hospital client in this beautiful Cheshire town wold like a vet with around 12-24 months experience to join their team of 6 vets, many with certificates and 9 RVNS.

As a true independent practice, our client offer their own dedicated 24 hour cover. Due to their size, the rota is only on weeknight every two weeks and one weekend every eight weeks. Accomodation can be

Our client in North Yorkshire require an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their night team.

Working a fantastic rota of 4 nights on, followed by 8 nights off this role would give you the opportunity to utilise almost 2 thirds of the year for personal interests.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an OOH's environment and will be comfortable with routine and emergency surgeries. They will also work well in an environment where no night is the same and there is no way to know what the next hour will bring!!!!

The role is sole charge working alongside an RVN.
Our client in the beautiful city of York require a senior Vet to join their team. The successful candidate will provide the clinical lead to the vets and nurses across the small group of practices, the existing team of 11 vets include certificate holders. CPD will be supported in any small animal discipline, including certificates.

The rota is based around a 4.5 day week with no OOH's and only 1:3 Saturday mornings.
Our client in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area require an addition small animal vet with enough experience to handle routine surgery and medical work ups and to occasionally work sole charge.

Working a light weekend rota which involves 1 in 10 Sat and Sundays and 2 in 10 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu for weekends worked.
