Our client in South Yorkshire have a fantastic opportunity for a an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them in a Lead Vet capacity. As a Lead Vet, candidates will have experience in a broad scope of clinical cases both medical and surgically and may well be studying towards a certificate, or looking to start one. The will also have some softer skills based around leadership and management. These would include empathy and communication skills.
As well as ensuring excellent clinical standards are maintained and improvements made where required, the successful candidate will also be involved in managing the performance of the business. This is likely to be a new experience to most candidates so training and support will be readily available. This is a great role for vets wanting to learn about the ins and outs of running a business before one day opening their own practice.
The practice itself is very well equipped:
- Orthopaedic suite
- Digital Z-Ray
- Full inhouse laboratory
This practice will attract candidates living in the following areas:
- Peak District
Our client are very happy to support certificates and indeed have the caseload to satisfy most small animal interests.
