This client is a 100% small animal practice based between Swindon and Cirencester. They are looking an experienced full or part time vet to join their friendly team.
The practice was established in 1982 and has a loyal and varied clientele. The team are well established with many of them have been part of the practice success for over 10 years. As an established practice this means is that they know the community and their therefore know their clients. They pride themselves on being a small, welcoming, approachable team and treat every patient and client as an individual. The practice has great facilities and strive to provide a first-class general practice service for small animals. They have laboratory facilities for a range of diagnostic tests, digital x-ray equipment, ultrasound, and dentistry work.
?This role can be flexible so applicants looking for full or part time work will be welcomed, the ideal being anything from 2-5 days, to suit the ideal candidate. The practice prides itself on being innovative with working practices, engaging colleagues in working schedules to suit them and constantly promoting excellent work/life balance.
You will be joining a team of 3 Vets, 3 x RVN’s, a VCA, a Practice Manager and additional support staff. The site is open from 8am – 6.30pm and Saturdays 9am – 11.30pm, Saturdays will be on a rota bases. There are no OOH’s with this role as this is covered by vets Now. There will be limited periods of sole charge so candidates must have experience in routine ops and medical cases.
Accommodation can be available for anyone looking to move to the area for this role.

A progressive surgery, they have facilities including ECG, Blood machines, Ultrasound etc
They can discuss both part and full time hours, full time being 40 hours with 1:3 weekends, part time would be flexible but would involve 1:4 weekends There are NO OOH's

Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Vet with interests in oncology to join a progressive Tier 3 hospital based close to Leeds in West Yorkshire. Working with an experienced oncology team, you may be looking towards specializing in this subject, or be part way through a certificate. You will be supported by their oncology expert and would have ongoing mentorship if required. They have a dedicated oncology suite where they offer both surgical and medical cancer treatments, and have a particular interest in reconstructive surgery and can provide both adjuvant and neo adjuvant chemotherapy. The facilities in the rest of the hospital are excellent, with CT scanner, various flexible and rigid scopes, ultrasound and access to an MRI twice a month.
This practice deal with a mix of caseload from the routine cases from their 5 branches, and also take referrals which include surgery, Cardiology, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology and imaging, carried out by a team of certificate and diploma holders.
This is a full-time role for 47 hours per week Monday to Friday with weekends on a 1:4 rota. This is a 24 hour hospital but there are no out of hours with this position as the hospital have a dedicated night team. You will be joining a team of over 20 vets who have varying interests and hold a variety of certificates. Due to the nature and size of the business you will gain broad exposure to a varied caseload within a friendly and supportive team.
In return the client offers a competitive salary, generous CPD allowance with 4 days per year to attend events, 33 days holiday and an additional day off for your birthday and a noncontractual bonus scheme. addition to your salary vets receive a top up payment for each weekend worked and two days off in Lieu the following week.
Salary is based on targeted on securing and keeping the very best candidates and is dependent on experience. Excellent CPD allowance of funding and time is given plus other benefits
