Full or part time vet - Open to New Graduates
Our client is looking for a full or part time vet to join their friendly practice in the heart of Devon.
The practice has three branches which are located between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. Having served the local community for the over 100 years, by providing pets and their owners, exceptionally high standards of patient and customer care.
The practice offers a competitive salary, generous CPD budget and a real opportunity to grow and become the vet you want to be. You will be working between 2 or 5 days per week (depending on what you require) but including a 1:8 OOH and weekend rota is essential. New graduates through to certificate holders are welcome to apply.

Experienced Vets Required 1 x Small Animal, 1 X Farm and 1 X Mixed Animal Vacancies
Due continued success our client is looking to expand their team in all areas for this truly mixed animal practice in North Devon. With this in mind they are looking to recruit a small animal vet, a mixed animal vet and finally a farm animal vet.
The practice has two sites so you must be able to drive to provide maximum flexibility to the client. The practice is 70% SA and 30% LA, with the latter made up of modern dairy farms alongside more traditional work with beef, sheep, horses and some small holders. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic vet, ideally with some experience but most importantly looking to progress in a supportive environment and enjoy the variety of a mixed caseload. The client have a great team of committed vets, including four certificate/diploma holders, alongside their fantastic nursing and support staff, and a great range of diagnostic equipment. There will be excellent support for candidates who want to expand their knowledge and gain experience from a varied caseload.
The roles will include some out of hours on a 1:7 rota but the practice is keen support time off to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Ideally the client would prefer full time but they have a few positions due to maternity cover and with that in mind they would be able to accommodate any hours.These roles normally include some out of hours but the practice can offer roles with or without the cover, if it would suit the candidate better.The position has four branches so you must be able to drive and to provide cover where necessary. Our client based in south Devon are looking for an equine vet to join their team. Experienced is preferred but the team can consider all levels of experience as they have the knowledge and ability to train up candidates with less experience.
As experienced, dedicated equine veterinary surgeons the team are equipped with the latest digital x-ray and diagnostic equipment to allow them to offer a full range of services, including a small amount of fertility work. They are also looking to develop their ambulatory side of the business in the near future. The team look after mainly leisure horses but do have a few racing clients who they care for aswell.
This is a full time position with 1:4 OOH rota and a 1:4 weekend rota with some sole charge shifts.
In return there is a generous salary on offer plus accommodation and a vehicle if needed.

Full Time Vet

The ideal candidate will work full time, approximately 40 hours per week, but there are no out of hours with this position. You will work 4 days each week plus every other Saturday 9-2pm. Senior veterinary Surgeon 4 day week with no OOH

This exciting opportunity would suit an experienced vet looking to take the next step in their career as CPD is strongly encouraged and fully funded and there are partnership opportunities for the right person.
