Full Time SA Vet within a Mixed practice in Ceredigion
Our client who is based in the Ceredigion area of Wales is looking for an enthusiastic small animal vet to join their team.

The client have a well-established mixed practice and have been located in the local area for over 50 years, developing a successful brand based upon high standards of patient care and fostering positive client-practice relationships. Leadership succession and growth of our business has opened up a role for an experienced small animal Vet, who would step into a workplace with employee wellbeing at its heart.
You would be part of a varied team of vets and supportive RVNs and receptionists that are committed to providing compassionate patient care. The client is all about the professional and personal development of their expanding team, from supporting and investing in individual interests to mentoring our spritely new and recent graduates.
The client is looking for a professional and caring general practitioner with experience in small animal practice. They are not looking for perfection, to fit their team you need to be someone who can make, follow-through and reflect on their own decisions and get involved in the good-humoured practice discussions. They like people who lead by example and take time to care, for themselves and others.
In order to foster a positive and sustainable working environment the hours are fairly sociable and flexible. The practice has 15 minute consultations standard with time allocated for communications, reflection and LUNCH! You will work a 40 hour week over 5 days and as they proudly provide their own out of hours service supported by the RVNs, you will have an equal share in this 1 in 4 rota with generous time off in lieu. Part time applications will also be considered.
The staff are the clients priority but they do have some equipment too - including laptop abdominal/cardiac ultrasound, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, in-house laboratory, HD microscopy and dental radiography in 2020.

Mixed Animal Vet South West Wales
Set in beautiful South West Wales on the Ceredigion / Carmarthenshire border my client are looking for either a Mixed Vet (split is 60% large and 40% small; beef cattle / lots of sheep farming) who is confident TB Tester
or good Small Animal Vet and they will make some internal changes.
They have all the modern equipment 3 scanners, digital x ray, digital x ray developer, in house lab, CPD allowance and fully supported.
Their OOH rota is 1:4 weekdays plus 1:6 weekends ;
one short weekend = Friday 5:30pm to Saturday 1:00pm and
one long weekend = Saturday 9:00am to Monday 8:30 am.
When working the long weekend you would have the Wednesday before off plus a long weekend off after where you would finish at lunchtime on a Friday. (Often the Vets will group their long weekend off together over the 12 weeks and have one full day off on a Friday).

Large Animal Vet Surgeon
Our client in the idyllic country location of Ceredigion, West Wales are looking to recruit a Large Animal Vet.
This is a long standing family run veterinary mixed practice employing 9 experienced veterinary surgeons who make up this fun loving supportive team.
The position is open to full and part time applications but you must be able to work OOH and sole charge on a shared and equal rota.
You will see a varied caseload and your own interests will be encouraged and certificates funded.
