This lovely practice based a few miles out of Leeds is easily reached from Castleford and Pontefract. The team are looking to support a new graduate or experienced vet and have a great mentorship program with their 2 other vets, one of whom is almost a surgery certificate holder.
They are happy to pass on their knowledge and skills to someone willing to learn and develop in this area.
This role can be Full or part time and hours can be negotiated to fit your needs, there are NO OOH’s but 1:3 Saturdays are required.
Good level of Salary great CPD and relocation package can also be discussed

Our client has a successful practice in Keighley who due to continued growth are looking for an additional Small Animal Vet to join their team.
The practice prides itself on offering great veterinary and client care and are looking for someone who enjoys the profession as much as they do. The purpose-built, well-equipped and air-conditioned surgery is well established. This is a cat friendly practice, with the silver ISFM award and they have Practice Standards Scheme accreditation. They enjoy a great local reputation - have lovely clients, many insured, who want the best for their pets.
The partner is a confident and experienced all-round general practitioner who enjoys teaching. The practice actively encourages a culture for learning with mentorship and support for all members of the team as needed. The team have colleagues working towards administrative, veterinary care assistant and veterinary nursing qualifications, together with veterinary surgeons developing an ever greater skill set. With a team of 5 vets and 4 RVNs and are able to support a recent graduate as needed, with one-to-one surgical coaching, shadowing consultations and providing clinical advice/case discussion with regular mentoring. There is a comprehensive and well-structured two-year CPD new graduate programme. More experienced clinicians would be encouraged to develop their own interests and client following.
The client can be very flexible and therefore are open to applications from full and part time candidates. There is an optional participation in weekend rota but opportunity of shifts on a 1 in 4, or 1 in 8 basis. The team really value our time outside of work – therefore there is no out-of-hours or on-call commitment. Time is scheduled through the day for lunch and administrative tasks, and consultations finish well before the end of the day, allowing you to finish time.
