West London, 12 Months plus UK Experience Circa £39 - 45k

Our West London client require a veterinary surgeon with around 12 months experience (comfortable with bouts of sole charge and routine soft tissue surgery) to join their mobile team. Providing cover for a small number of local branches and the main hospital you will get the opportunity to work alongside vets with varying skills. You will also have the opportunity to develop through a generous CPD to certificate level. You will work a 4 day week with no OOH's. There is a weekend requirement of 1 in 6 ful weekends.

The base practice is a well equipped 24 hour hospital with digital X-Ray, ultrasound, endoscopes.

An excellent package will be offered to the successful candidate, with a salary in the region of 39-45k. Other benefits include generous CPD, RCVS paid, BVA paid, VDS paid, 3 days off for CPD.

Due to expansion and demand, our Central London client are seeking a third veterinary surgeon to join their team. This practice is very busy so there is a requirement for all candidates to have around 2 years experience. All candidates must be happy with routine GP surgical and medical cases. Should candidates wish to embark on a small animal based certificate, this would be readily encouraged. Candidates who thrive in a fast paced, busy environment with a great team will thrive in this role. The rota is based round a 4 day week with weekends on a rota and there are no OOH's required. This is a first opinion practice is well equipped with digital x-ray and ultrasound etc. As with all veterinary roles, the packaged will be based on experience and skillset, however, rest assured, budget is no barrier as far as my client is concerned. They always pay the salaries required to attract the best candidates.
Our client in North West London require a Veterinary Surgeon with around 12-24 months experience to join their team in a mobile capacity. With regards to experience, candidates should be happy with routine soft tissue work and handling their own medical cases. They will also be happy with periods of sole charge. Support form local practices is always available. This is a role that would suit someone moving to London and be contemplating different areas to live before settling and those looking to work with lots of different vets to develop their knowledge. The role is based on a 4 day week with 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends. There are no OOH's. You have have access to unrivalled facilities, including MRI, CT, laparoscopic equipment, digital x-ray, ultrasound etc. It is highly probable (should candidates wish) that this role will become a fixed location role in around 12 months. Our client in South London require a veterinary surgeon with around 12 months experience - so happy with routine neuters, lump removals, dentals etc etc to join their team in a mobile capacity. As a mobile vet you will help with rota gaps and holiday as well as having a regular practice days. The team sizes of the 3 practices vary and this role will involve some sole charge work. Equipment levels also vary but you will regular access to digital X-Ray, ultrasound etc on a regular basis. As a mobile vet you get instant access to numerous vets with different interests and skill sets. The package is excellent for the level of experience you will likely have and promotional prospects mean you will likely be in a permanent location within 12 months or so. A driving license is essential. The rota is based around a 4 day week, no OOH's 1:6 full weekends.
Our Central London client require a vet with around 12 months experience, so happy with small amounts of basic sole charge, routine neuters in cats and dogs, lump removals, dentals etc as well as managing their own medical workups. Our client in the Orpington area of Greater London require an experienced veterinary surgeon to lead their 2.5 vet team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing lead vet, or an experienced veterinary surgeon looking to take on extra responsibility in their career. The role involves motivating and mentoring the small team of vets and nurses ensuring excellent clinical and service standards are maintained at all times. The practice is very well equipped with equipment such as: Top of the range ultrasound machine (with doppler), Celtic class IV laser, Dental x-ray An array of orthopaedic equipment. The rota is based around a 4 day working with 1:6 full weekends. The OOH's are managed by a local hospital so there are no OOH's with this role.
Our North West London client require an experienced veterinary surgeon ideally in ECC, but certainly experienced in small animal surgery and who has had good exposure to ECC work. Funding has already been agreed to support certificates in ECC should candidates wish to pursue this. The successful candidate will be based in this flagship North West London practice and will handle emergency calls from a large number of local practices. This is a very busy out of hours service. A full support team is always on hand. Patient history notes are easily accessible. The rota is based on a 7 on 7 off rota. Shifts are 7pm - 9am which equates to a 49 hour week. The client can consider full or part time hours with weekends on a rota basis. There will be some sole charge responsibility but no OOHs ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
