Our client on the outskirts of Brighton are currently looking for Experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join their small animal practice on either a full or part time basis.

The position can be full-time (35-40 hours a week), or part-time (from 10 hours a week) - the team will try to be as flexible as possible and consider any working hours within good reason. With an excellent rota including 1:4 Saturday 8am-4pm and no OOH, providing a great work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and caring Veterinary Surgeon. Someone with good communication skills and a willingness to develop both clinical and non-clinical skills to enable delivery of superb patient care. You must have the ability to effectively communicate with both colleagues and clients and be happy to work as part of a team.

The current team is made up of 4 experienced Vets, 6 RVN's, 1 Student nurse plus a team of hardworking and supportive Receptionists who all care passionately about their jobs and work well as a team. Between them the team have interests in medicine, nutrition, dermatology, feline medicine and soft tissue surgery and are keen to welcome and encourage your own interests.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary (dependent on experience), a generous CPD allowance with RCVS fees covered, 6.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays and a Healthshield cash plan.

This client have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The team of 5 Vets, including a certificate holder in feline medicine, work across 2 branch practices (just 2.5 miles apart) and are supported by 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Nurse. The team consider staff wellbeing a priority and are proud to work with their staff to create a good work-life balance. And with both practices being within a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Brighton seafront, the location is second to none. A the practices are so closethey often share equipment across both sites, including in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, digital dental x-ray, operating theatre. They run 15-minute consultation time slots, with dedicated operating days at least once or twice per week. The team are happy to consider part-time or full-time applicants. The practices are open Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm and Saturdays 8am-12noon. Full-time hours will include 40 hours over 4 days per week and part-time being 30 hours over 3 days per week both with 1:4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis but there are no OOHs with this role. The ideal candidate will be a vet who is as passionate about animal and client care as well as wanting to be part of a team that works closely together and helps each other out to achieve excellent clinical outcomes. You must be confident to do some sole charge days at the branch practice and be competent in all routine surgeries and ideally more complex ones too, although there is support available. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are registered with the RCVS. This lovely independent practice are looking for an experienced vet to join their busy, friendly and supportive team. The practice see a variety of caseload and you will have the opportunity to workup your cases plus enjoy clinical freedom in this progressive environment. You must be capable of routine medical, clinical and surgical duties. The practice do also cover their own OOHs and so you will be required to be on-call 2 nights per week - the nurse does triage the calls and will contact the vey on call if need be and there will always be a 2nd vet available for support. Our fantastic Independent client are looking for an Emergency and Critical Care Vet to join their night team on a permanent basis. The night vets work split shifts, either 4pm-12.30am or 10.30pm-9.30am, to allow them to pursue their passion for ECC without becoming exhausted. The team understand that some of the best ECC vets require flexible working so we will consider both full-time and part-time applicants. With 2 in 5 weekends, no requirement to cover weekend or Bank Holiday day shifts, and an average of 35h per week, all night vets enjoy an excellent work-life balance. The role will involve seeing first-opinion emergencies and providing continuous care for inpatients and referral cases. Our client are based on the coast near Hastings and are looking for an experienced and competent small animal vet to join their friendly and supportive team. The role is full time, 40 hours per week - normally 4x 10hr shifts (8.30am-6/7pm) with a day off (currently a Tuesday) plus 1:3 Saturday mornings (8.45am-12.30pm) consults only. There may be some sole charge shifts but no on-call, OOH or Bank Holiday work. The ideal candidate will be experienced and competent in all routine surgeries and be confident working in busy consultations with a loyal client base. Any areas of interest will be supported and encouraged. You must be comfortable with routine surgeries and dentistry. The practice would welcome anyone undertaking or wishing to undertake certificate studies, particularly orthopaedic as the practice has a large range of equipment to support this. A good sense of humour and willingness to become part of a team is essential, as is the ability to engage with a client base that has a lot of interesting characters. The client needs someone who is willing to muck in with everyone, be a team player but also keen to potentially take on a more leadership style role as they move forwards. The surgery has digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment as well as a dedicated surgical room, separate kennels, cattery and upstairs staff room. The team even had staff that have left and come back. The Clinical Director has a cardiology certificate and takes referral cases from the local area and charities.
