Our client are looking for an experienced small animal vet, with at least three years’ experience, to join their multi-site practice and extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced vets and nurses.
Based on the coast in East Sussex the team emphasise care, community, and communication, and have built a large, local client base on the principle of providing excellent service.
This practice is part of a group of five branches serving the Hastings and Bexhill area, and provides out-of-hours cover to a number of other practices in the area. They have a broad range of talented individuals, and offer orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, laser treatment, physiotherapy, and have a dedicated night team.
East Sussex is an area steeped in history, with beautiful countryside, stunning coastlines and an abundance of choice within the art, sports and leisure scenes. There are also great links to Brighton, London and Gatwick. Our client on the Sussex Coast require an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team in a Clinical Director Capacity. The role is 90% clinical and would involve setting the clinical standard of the hospital and larger group. Actual "Practice Management" is covered by the management team. The incoming CD with form part of this team. Te CD will be involved in day to day running of the clinical teams, PDP's for surgeons and candling clinical complaints.
This is a 4 day week plus 1/4 weekends. There is a 1 in 11 second on call to support the OOH's team.
