Veterinary Surgeon - Open to new graduates

Our client is looking for a full time small animal vet, to join their multi site team in Wolverhampton.

The client would be interested in all levels of experience, including new graduates who are keen to expand their knowledge. Whatever your experience you must be an excellent communicator and have a real passion for delivering high levels of client and animal care. The practice have a varied and experienced team, who are able to support new graduates, allowing them to fulfill their potential.

This is a full time role and will include some out of hours and weekends. Weekends will be on a 2:8 rota, which will include a Sat AM only and another additional weekend where you would work the whole weekend including out of hours. The out of hour rota would include 1 full week of nights (on a 1:8 rota), starting with the long weekend and then night from 6.30pm - 9am. You would have a phone responding to clients calls and then go into practice when required. There would be a qualified nurse on site at all time. If there are no call outs then you wouldn't need to go into practice.

As well as being based at a local practice you would also be able to go to the main site, a tier 3 hospital, where you would be able to gain lots of additional knowledge and see varied caseload.

Our client is looking for an experienced full time small animal veterinary surgeon to join their multi site team in Wolverhampton. The practice have a varied and experienced team and are ideally looking for someone with at least 3 years experience to join the them and be happy to take on their share of the 1:8 OOH rota. You must be confident and competent in all basic small animal surgeries and be an excellent communicator able to provide excellent consults to all clients. You will have a real passion for delivering high levels of client and animal care at all times. This is a full time role and will include some sole charge shifts and weekends on a 2:8 rota (1 x Sat AM only and 1 x Sat & Sun including the OOH). The role would ideally start in January and you must be confident with routine consults, basic surgery and supporting less experience staff if necessary.
