Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy, Surrey, Upto £52,000 PA, Routine Surgery Experience Required
Our client are looking for an additional veterinary surgeon to join their small team on the Surrey Hampshire borders. This role would suit a GP veterinary surgeon who would be interested in training in laparoscopic surgery as this practice is particularly well equipped.
The successful candidate should be happy with routine surgeries and medical work ups. It is likely that candidates will have a minimum of 12 months experience.
This is a small friendly team with one other vet and large nursing and support team.
The rot is based ion a 4 day week with 1/6 weekends.

Part-Time SA Vet for small branch practice - sole charge - Hampshire
This lovely client in Hampshire are looking for a part time consulting Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a part-time fixed term contract.
The position is to be based at the smallest of the groups 3 surgeries, which is a fully functional in its own right and has all the modern toys to enable a full diagnostic examination of the patients. Full support from the main branch that has digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy.
Situated on the Surrey / Hampshire / West Sussex border close to the beautiful South Downs and within easy access of the South Coast and fast train links to London.
This is a fixed term contract working 2 days per week, with possible every other Saturday morning 8am - 12pm (this can be negotiable). No OOH as the team use a dedicated night service. There is a lovely RVN, VCA and receptionist to support you all constantly at the branch.
Across the group they have an amazing team of vets, nurses, VCA's and receptionists, all working together to achieve an excellent standard of care. They have a nurturing culture, with a high emphasis for learning and development and have an internal medicine certificate holder and a vet working towards their cardiology certificate.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and hard-working colleague, who enjoys clinical work and interacting with clients. You will need to enjoy taking sole responsibility of the branch.
Salary will be dependent on experience benefits include:
• 5 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays
• 5 days paid CPD leave
• 1250 CPD Allowance per annum
• Private Medical Insurance
• VDS Membership paid
• BVA Membership paid

Our client in Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in surgery to join their first opinion surgery.
The position is available for a full time member of staff to work 40 hours a week, however the team can consider a part-time experienced vet or job share.
The successful candidate must be able to work approximately 1:4 Saturday morning surgeries in a sole charge capacity. Although there will be no OOH as the surgery is covered by Vets Now.
This is a close knit friendly team working out of a single site practice on the outskirts of Southampton. Located on the edge of the New Forest National Park and close to the water sport amenities of the Solent, the team of experience vets are supported by a team of nurses, most of whom have trained in the surgery and have remained with the team and work exceptionally well together.
Cuurently the team have 6 vets at the surgery ranging in experience from a first year graduate to vets with 20+ years’ experience. They have 3 student nurses and the surgery enjoys teaching and sharing new ideas. They also have digital radiography, ultrasonography, in house laboratory machines from Idexx, capnography and an E.C.G machine.
The ideal Vet Surgeon will fit seamlessly into this busy, friendly team. You will have a good sense of humour and an excellent work wthic. You will need to be self-motivated with an interest in all aspects of the job and the willingness to support and teach new Graduates surgery skills. Some UK experience is desirable. The team encourage and support new ideas and offer CPD to develop and help improve individuals skills and confidence.

Large Experienced Team seek Veterinary Surgeon for Varied Caseload - South Coast
Our client are a 12-site group spread across Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex. They have a strong focus on clinical excellence and client service to create a progressive and supportive environment.
The team are looking for a friendly, clinically focussed, progressive colleague to join their great team. This vacancy has come about due to a colleague moving to a referral centre to undertake further qualifications and so for the right candidate, they can offer a high caseload in areas of specific interest, which can be worked up to a high level alongside an experienced and dedicated nursing team.
They encourage personal development and have a good structure for internal referrals enabling a large and varied caseload to be developed. The clinics are extensively equipped with full endoscopy (video scope, rigid scope, bronchoscope), in-house lab (procyte, catalyst, sedivue, electrolytes, PT/APTT, snap shot), digital x-ray, dental x-ray, multiparameter machines and a high quality ultrasound. Plus they have multiple nurse training centres.
Currently a large, experienced team of 11 Vets, some of whom hold certificates in various disciplines or studying towards certificates, plus 18 RVN's and a dedicated Team of support staff and reception staff.
This role could be ideal for either a GP or someone wishing to undertake further studies. Duties will involve general first opinion work, consultations, workups and surgery as well as becoming part of the out of hours team on a well worked system.
You must be an experienced, friendly colleague who is focussed on progression and clinical excellence, whilst happy to work in a friendly and fast paced environment.
