Registered Veterinary Nurse - Surrey
Our fantastic referral client have an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join the team in one of their 2 state-of-the-art referral centres in Surrey.
The role will see you responsible for providing high quality nursing care to all patients, including advanced intensive care nursing when required. You will work as part of a team to sustain an efficient and tidy working area whilst maintaining good infection control at all times to allow for smooth running of the daily surgical load.
You will report to the Head Nurse and Senior Ward Nurse and work collaboratively with all members of staff to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care along with compassionate communication for patients referred to the practice. You will be care driven, have excellent communication skills, be exceptionally organised and be able to support a 24/7 team environment.

It is essential that you are qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and are registered with the RCVS. It would be desirable to have experience of working in a referral setting but this is not essential.
The team are looking for someone who has the ability to work as a team player, you must be competent in all basic nursing skills. It would be beneficial if you were competent in monitoring anaesthesia and in advanced nursing skills but this is not essential.
