Small animal vet for growing practice with varied caseload including exotics

Louise Evans

This progressive small practice is based on a short drive from Cardiff, close to Blackwood and Newport and can offer a varied caseload including a good amount of exotics and wildlife.
Equipped with modern ultrasound, ECG, laser, endoscope, electrocautery, haematology (including small exotic) house lab and much more. They offer extensive orthopedics, soft tissue surgeries and cardiology and work up cases in house where possible. They have a certificate holder in exotic practice and see a slightly more unusual caseload which includes skunks and raptors.

They are ideally looking for a candidate with good medical and surgical expertise, however they are able to offer mentorship for vets who have limited experience, and are always interested to expand the capabilities of the team, so can support further development in those more experienced.

They can consider full or part time from 20 hours to 40 hours a week with 1:3 or 4 weekends. Visa sponsorship and relocation can be considered too
