Small animal vet - flexible 30-40 hours, close to Manchester

Small and friendly team, located within easy reach of central Manchester would like to find a small animal vet who is confident to work in sole charge and happy with routine medical and surgical procedures.
They have great equipment including ultrasound, idexx blood machines and digital X-Ray. They have a mainly general practice caseload but have a few more exotics than normal to satisfy the interest of one of the team.
They are flexible to consider hours of 30-40 per week, and there would be the need for 1:2 weekends with NO OOH's

Our Merseyside based client require an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their large team of 9 vets. This is a first opinion role, however our client does see referal cases as well. There are no OOH's with this role and the rota is based around a 4 day week with 1:6 full weekends. The practice is very equipped upto CT level with endoscopes, laparoscopy, digital x-ray etc. Certificates will be actively encouraged in any small animal discipline and there is plenty caseload to support most interests.
Our client in West Susses require an additional veterinary surgeon to join their night team. Their fantastic rota works as follows: 4 nights working 3 nights off 3 nights working 11 nights off. This rota fits in with the rest of the team so is not flexible. All suitable candidates must be happy with these shifts. The night vets are always supported by and RVN.
Our multi vet client in West Sussex would like an experienced vet looking for a consult only role to join their team. The extensive team consists of over 15 vets with a host of different interests and specialisms. Referrals are taken in the following areas: Imaging Internal Medicine Orthopaedics Dermatology Dentistry Soft Tissue Surgery Ophthalmology Cardiology There are no OOH's required fir this role and a standard week is 4 days with 1:4 Saturdays.
Due to expansion and demand, our Central London client are seeking a third veterinary surgeon to join their team. This practice is very busy so there is a requirement for all candidates to have around 2 years experience. All candidates must be happy with routine GP surgical and medical cases. Should candidates wish to embark on a small animal based certificate, this would be readily encouraged. Candidates who thrive in a fast paced, busy environment with a great team will thrive in this role. The rota is based round a 4 day week with weekends on a rota and there are no OOH's required. This is a first opinion practice is well equipped with digital x-ray and ultrasound etc. As with all veterinary roles, the packaged will be based on experience and skillset, however, rest assured, budget is no barrier as far as my client is concerned. They always pay the salaries required to attract the best candidates.
Our client in North West London require a Veterinary Surgeon with around 12-24 months experience to join their team in a mobile capacity. With regards to experience, candidates should be happy with routine soft tissue work and handling their own medical cases. They will also be happy with periods of sole charge. Support form local practices is always available. This is a role that would suit someone moving to London and be contemplating different areas to live before settling and those looking to work with lots of different vets to develop their knowledge. The role is based on a 4 day week with 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends. There are no OOH's. You have have access to unrivalled facilities, including MRI, CT, laparoscopic equipment, digital x-ray, ultrasound etc. It is highly probable (should candidates wish) that this role will become a fixed location role in around 12 months. Our client in Liverpool require an additional prat time surgeon to join their team. The rota will involve working Mondays and Tuesdays 9-7 and 1:3 Saturdays which is the equivalent of 21 hours per week. There is often a requirement for additional staff in local sister practices too for those not wanting to work part time but are a little flexible over locations. The role is client focusses and would suit someone who really enjoys consulting and working closely with clients. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing partner and will involve some sole charge. YOu will have access to certificate holders of all disciplines and access to state of the art facilities for referral cases. An excellent calary will be offered to the right candidate upto around 43,000 plus CPD, VDS, RCVS, 5 days pro erat holiday etc etc.
Our client in South London require a veterinary surgeon with around 12 months experience - so happy with routine neuters, lump removals, dentals etc etc to join their team in a mobile capacity. As a mobile vet you will help with rota gaps and holiday as well as having a regular practice days. The team sizes of the 3 practices vary and this role will involve some sole charge work. Equipment levels also vary but you will regular access to digital X-Ray, ultrasound etc on a regular basis. As a mobile vet you get instant access to numerous vets with different interests and skill sets. The package is excellent for the level of experience you will likely have and promotional prospects mean you will likely be in a permanent location within 12 months or so. A driving license is essential. The rota is based around a 4 day week, no OOH's 1:6 full weekends.
Our Derbyshire based client require a veterinary surgeon experienced in emergency work to join them on a part time basis. The rota in this RCVS Tier 3 hospital will be based around a 4 on, 10 off shift pattern. The practice is very well equipped with equipment such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG. The successful candidate will full access to most medical files and will be supported by RVN's at all times. An exceptional salary, depending on experience will be offered, but rest assured, my client have a reputation for industry beating salary packages. Our client in Shropshire require an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team of 4 vets and multiple nurses. The role involves all routine medical and surgical cases and and candidates are required to be involved in both aspects. CPD will be supported upto certificate level if applicants wish to embark on a certificate. The practice is well equipped with Digital X-ray, ultrasound etc. CT is available at a sister practice when needed. The rota is based around a four day week, 1:3 saturdays and no OOH's.
Our 4 vet client in Dorset require a veterinary surgeon with 12 months experience or more to join their team. The successful candidate will be happy with routine surgical procedures such as cat and dog neuters, lumpectomies etc. They will also be happy managing their own medical case work ups. The OOH's for this practice are managed by a local provider and the rota is based around a 4 day week. An excellent package is available depending upon experience, upto 55,000.

Due to the current relocation of one of their team, they are looking for two additional veterinary surgeons to join them. They are based in one of the nicest towns in the area and have a branch surgery on the coast. There will be time spent in both locations.
