Our client on the Wirral require an experienced "all round vet" to join their 7 vet team. For candidates looking to develop their leadership experience, this could be a Lead or Senior Vet role. Working across a few different sites, the successful candidate will have the opportunity gel with the whole team and enjoy a variety of different clients. As all branches are interlinked, clients tend to follow vets around depending on the site they are working in. The vast majority of the time, all work is carried out in the same location on any given day. There are very occasional times when vets work in dual sites, however, this is very much the exception.

Established tier 2 practice with Cat friendly status, would like to meet Vets who are confident in routine practice, to work in their single site purpose built practice on the outskirts of Liverpool.
Close to the M62 and M57, the practice is easily accessed and is well equipped with Ultrasound Doppler, blood machines, in house lab and x ray.
They require a vet who is able to confidently carry out routine surgery and is capable to work in consults to a good standard, care and support will be given to activley develop your skills within any chosen area, and CPD can be tailored to provide this up to Certificate level.
This lovely team hope to grow the practice to a three vet team and can accommodate a salary of up to 60k for the right person.
For a full time role the hours would be a 37 hour week with 1:4 weekends with NO OOH's or inpatient requirements

Our 100% small animal clinic in Liverpool have a vacancy for a senior veterinary surgeon to joint their team of 5 vets. Working with vets with 6 months upto 10 years experience you will be involved in developing junior vets as well as further developing your own skills is a supportive environment.
The well equipped practice is very large allowing for total separation of canine and feline cases as well as having a separate exotics treatment area and dental suite.
Equipment includes digital X-Ray (dental x-ray on order) ultrasound and full Idexx blood and biochem kit.
On any given weekday there are at least 2 vets plus 6-7 nurses and on weekends, 2 vets and 3 nurses. Currently vets work 4, 9.5 hour days plus 1 in 4 weekends.
Veterinary nurses are fully utilised carrying out any schedule 3 appointments they can, freeing up veterinary surgeons.
There are no OOH's with this role.
