This client with excellent first opinion clinics based in South Leicestershire are looking for a proactive Senior Small Animal Vet to join the team due to their expanding business.
The team are doubling their workspace and getting a brand-new clinic as well as updating their current sites in this exciting new phase of expansion.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive senior small animal vet who is an enthusiastic team player. Someone who is keen to get their teeth into the challenge of an expanding business.
The role will involve general clinical work, colleague training, welfare, and development, assisting the clinical director in developing and marketing of the new clinic, as well as the day to day running of each branch. Certificate holders or willingness to work towards a certificate is an advantage but not essential.

You will be working alongside a hugely experienced team which offers a wealth of expertise; Visiting Veterinarians assist with both case management and team development. A nursing team that are focused on animal care and providing the complete service to both colleagues and clients. A reception team that works hard on providing the best client journey and a leadership team who are passionate about employee welfare and strive to create a supportive and enjoyable place to work. For the right candidate, they are happy to offer flexibility of working hours to accommodate individual circumstances, this position could be filled by a number of part time personnel or a full-time role (40 hour working week).

The practice has all the usual toys, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound including cardiology package, endoscopy, in-house biochemistry, haematology, and cytology. The site is based in a thriving area with great motorway and rail links to Birmingham, London and Leicester city centres for shopping and night life.
The overall area is semi-rural with Lutterworth and Broughton Astley giving the small town vibe, great for families, with good schools and plenty of activities as well as providing some great places to eat, drink and unwind. All this and the ability to escape off the beaten track and enjoy scenic walks through the local villages.


The successful candidate will benefit from a range of benefits including a starting salary of between 55,000-65,000 per annum dependent on experience (negotiable for the right candidate). Plus a competitive CPD 5 days funded, with encouragement and support to undertake certificates. Pension, Healthshield (make use of a massage or two on the business) and a 4-day working week for a full-time role.
