The nursing rota provides an excellent work/life balance by working 4 days, you always get a day off in the week. Hours are split across the 4 days, working three long and one short day with 1 in 3 Saturdays and time back in lieu. Your working days include 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
The out of hours are covered by Vets Now, meaning there is no on call duties or bank holiday work. From time to time they do keep stable patients in and work an inpatient rota, this requires you to be on rota no more than once per week to attend the branch at midnight for a check on your patient. These are very far and few between and are often stable cats requiring extended IVFT.
