Small Animal Vet required for Family Run Yorkshire practice

This independent, family run, small animal practice in beautiful South Yorkshire are looking for an expereinced small animal vet to join their team.

This is a suberb opportunity to join a highly supportive and friendly team of 14 vets, 7 VN's and 7 auxiliary nurses in a role where you can enjoy clinical freedom and great support in which to learn and grow.

With 8 sites across South Yorkshire, 7 of which are modern, air conditioned branches and one extremely well equipped Tier 2 main centre which has just been completely renovated providing great consulting and operating facilities.

This is a full time role, alternating between 4/5 day weeks with a 2 hour set lunch break and a maximum of 1 night per week OOH. The nurses take the phone and checks on inpatients.
6 weeks holiday and CPD strongly encourgaed and funded.

There is a 2 bedroom furnished accommodation available if required and a new car available for work and private use.

Salary dependent upon experience up to 60k.

Equipment includes digital x-ray including dental, ultrasound, in house Lab with Idexx biochemistry and haematology analysers, flat-screen microscope, K-laser, bronchoscope, isolation ward plus separate dog and cat wards. The practice is located on the South Coast with easy access to fantastic coastal walks and marinas but also the tranquility of the New Forest and just a short ferry ride from the idyllic Isle of Wight. The client is looking for an enthusiastic Vet to join our hard working team who shares their ethos and in return they can offer a great work life balance, so that you can experience the delights the local area has to offer. The client is open to applications from Vets seeking either full or part time. Full time would be 40 hours over 4 days and part time would be 3 full days; both include every third Saturday morning from 8.30am-12pm. Consulting and operating time is shared and there is no OOH. Our client Nottinghamshire, just off the M1 have a vacancy for a part time veterinary surgeon to join their team. The ideal working hors are 32, however they are flexible overt this. Candidates need to have enough experience to handle short periods of sole charge without concern and be comfortable with some routine surgical and medical procedures/conditions. Our Client on the South Wales Powys Borders require a veterinary surgeon, ideally with a minimum of 12 months UK experience (comfortable with small amounts of sole charge, routine surgeries and medical cases) to join their team.
