Assistant Small Animal Vet, Nottingham Area

Out Nottinghamshire based client require an additional, experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team.

I ideally joining them with around 2 years experience, so happy with routine surgeries and medical cases. Confident vets with less than 2 years will be considered provided they are happy with these case and occasional bouts of sole charge.

There are no OOH's with this role an the client offers a 4 day week with 1:6 weekends.

The team consists of 3 vets and 6 nurses.

Our client is a well-respected multi vet, small animal practice who are looking for a confident vet to join their team. You will be joining a team of 7 vets and over 20 nurses who all work to ensure a happy and supportive working environment. The practice has an excellent local reputation and are working hard to secure a bright and promising future, for the whole team. The practice has a great range of facilities including 7 consult rooms, 3 operating theatres, x-ray room, dental room, ultrasound, and a handheld digital x-ray machine is on its way. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and have a real passion for providing high levels of client and animal care, continuing the develop the client’s reputation. Candidates will have previous experience, preferably 2 years but as long as you are able to perform routine surgeries then the practice would be open to applications. This is a full-time position working four days per week. Weekends are on a 1:4 Saturday and Sunday 9am - 4pm but there are no out of hours with this role. The practice are keen to support future development and would welcome candidates who are wanting to do a certificate in the future. LIVE COVID VACANCY Our client in Nottinghamshire would like to recruit an experienced vet to join them in a Head Vet capacity. Working with a 6 vet team you would be responsible for; consulting, surgery, diagnosis and treatment of patients, inpatient care, supporting reception and nursing staff with regards to clinical services, customer service, pricing and estimating fees, dealing with client concerns. This is a great opportunity for an experienced vet looking to upskill and take more responsibility in a large practice. The rota is worked over 4 days with 1/6 weekends. There are no OOH's
Our client in Nottinghamshire require a confident veterinary surgeon to join them in a mobile capacity. The successful candidate will be happy with routine scheduled and emergency surgical cases and medical work ups. This is a mobile role, working across around 6 practices so excellent communication skills are important, both with clients and of course different team members. As part of the mobile team the successful candidate will see a very varied caseload and will more than likely be offered a role in a fixed site within 12 months of starting. An industry leading package with a package upto 55k. plus COPD and subscriptions. The rolta is worked on a 4 day per week basis with 1;6 full weekends, days only. There are no OOH's with this role.
