Our client on the Suffolk Borders require an additional small animal vet to join their team. New graduates are welcome to apply for this role.
The successful candidate will join a team of two veterinary surgeons making a team of three vets.
Practice equipment includes digital X-Ray and ultrasound
Our client proudly provide their own OOH's cover which is worked on 1/3 week basis. OOH's are not not particularly busy.
Our client has a small animal practice in the Kings Lynn area. They have one branch surgery which is consulting only. The practice has been established since the 1930’s and has evolved over the years with the changing pace of veterinary medicine, to offer a modern service with a well established reputation.
The practice has a friendly, knowledgeable team of vets and RVNs. They have a really good mix of experience in the veterinary team, which includes an advanced practitioner in cardiology, an advanced practitioner in small animal medicine – feline and a certificate holder in internal medicine. The vets work closely with each other, offering advice to their colleagues and working up cases together to achieve the best possible results for their patients. The practice sees a varied caseload, The vets have clinical freedom and are well supported by proactive and experienced nurses and receptionists. No out of hours. Wide range of diagnostic and surgical equipment.
The practice is located in a busy market town close to the beautiful North Norfolk coastline. Norwich is our closest city, an hour’s drive and London is 90 minutes away by train.
Ideally the client is looking for an experienced vet with preferably a surgical bias. Consulting and surgery, consulting only at the branch practice one day per week. The rota is 1 weekend in 5 and 1 inpatient check per week. Full time vets work a 4 day week. Following a weekend, the vets are allocated 5.5 days off (from Wednesday lunchtime to Tuesday morning).
