The location is ideal for access to the coast and countryside of the North East, in addition to all the culture and amenities of Newcastle and Gateshead.

The clinic has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join them as the Night ECC Vet, working alongside the dedicated on-site ECC nurses and nursing assistants. The 24-hour service and 'one team' ethos provides for exceptional continuity of care, with case handovers at the beginning and end of every day allowing plenty of time for clinical discussion.

A night shift begins with a handover from the daytime hospital vet at 6pm and ends with a handover the following day at 6.45am. While the caseload is variable, a private bedroom and bathroom is provided for the ECC vet and this is very much a sleeping shift.
