Flexible hours from 10-40, experienced vet for growing team, New graduates considered
This practice based in Derby has the best of both worlds, being located in a small town surrounded by beautiful landscapes, but only 30 mins from the either of the bustling cities of Nottingham and Derby.
My client has a small practice which is still building a client base and due to growth is looking to recruit another vet to help with the busy caseload.
As this practice is still growing, they would welcome someone who is enthusiastic and motivated and can bring new ideas and has a passion for customer service and teamwork. You may have an interest you wish to pursue, and would be free to do this with their offer of a great CPD allowance and plenty of encouragement.
Ideally you will be a self starter and be able to confidently work in sole charge, with excellent surgical and medical skills. The practice can be really flexible with hours, from 10 hours up to full time (40) and there are no OOH’s and No Sundays, Saturdays are worked on a rota. The practice are also able to consider a newly graduated vet to fill this position too, as the partner is fully able to teach and mentor the skills required to excel in the vet industry

Derbyshire team, can support New graduate vets upwards
This lovely team are located in a pretty town surrounded by the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. They are able to offer an opportunity to a new or recent graduate, to learn develop and grow with the practice. Due to the experience within the team they can offer one on one mentorship and support with CPD both in house, online and elsewhere. Ideally you will be confident with some aspects of routine practice however the most important thing is that you are keen to learn and will embrace the prospect of delivering great patient care.
The hours are ideally full time at 40 hours a week including 1:3 weekends however there could be some flexibility in this.
Salary is dependent on experience from 32k

Small animal Vet, recent graduates considered, some surgical experience preferred
The historic city of Derby is the location for this lovely client who need to grow their team. They would prefer someone with a little surgical experience in practice, but are able to consider candidates who have already recently graduated. They are able to offer the time and support needed to ease you into everyday working practice.
Working alongside 1 other vet who has a keen interest in surgery and feline medicine, there would be NO OOH's and weekends on a rota of 1:3.
A rabbit and cat friendly practice, who have strong links with local charity, they have a busy caseload and are able to work up cases with clinical freedom.
The interests of the current team include exotics, feline medicine and soft tissue surgery, and they are keen to either pass on this knowledge or to nurture someone with a developing interest. but most important of all you must have the right enthusiasm and confidence.
