Small animal Vet vacancy suitable for New graduate

Steph Ward
Our client is a dual site, well respected practice in the Derbyshire and are currently looking for a confident new graduate vet to join their friendly team.

This is a full time role and is open to confident new graduate vets who can demonstrate excellent communications skills and a passion for delivering high levels of client and animal care.

You will be joining a team of 4 x permanent vets, 6 x RVN's, 3 x student nurses, an ANA and other support staff. This role will give you a broad exposure to all first opinion work and allow you to develop all round all round knowledge with a supportive team. The vets already at the practice have a range of interests including surgery, ophthalmology, a GP Certificate holder in soft tissue surgery and have experience in supporting new graduates.

The weekly rota is 9am-6pm with 1:5 Saturdays (9am-5pm) when confident. OOH is covered by Vets Now but will include some inpatient care on an OOH rota. In the first instance a nurse would deal with the inpatient but if a vet is required then would need to be available.

CPD allowance is unlimited and encouraged.

If you would like to apply then please contact [email protected] or give me a call on 01422 433900.
