New Graduate, Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet - Flintshire

Julie Powell

Our client has two, well-established veterinary practices near Prestatyn and are looking for a third Small Animal Vet to join the team.

The current team of 19 consists of: 1 Clinical Director, 1 Deputy Clinical Director, 2 vets, 1 Practice Manager, 1 senior RVN, 3 RVN's, 3 SVN's, 1 senior receptionist, 5 receptionists and 1 Groomer. There is a fantastic, loyal client based offering a varied case load. The team are passionate about preventative health care and nutrition. The practice sees mainly small animals and wildlife, offering high standard of first opinion care. This role would be great for a Surgeon with a strong GP interest, looking for a long term role, in an easy going practice. Both practices benefit from in-house blood and lab facilities for routine work, ultrasound and x-ray facilities. The practice are passionate about case continuity. This means that from the moment vets see the patients, they are encouraged to investigate and work up their own cases from that initial visit onwards.

The practice is situated in the beautiful area of North Wales. Being close to the border and the A55, it means it is well located for those who enjoy the more rural side of life, with plenty of countryside and hill walk areas, or those that prefer the city environment with Chester, Liverpool and Manchester situated not far away.

  1. will be mainly based at one branch, but you may be needed to cover some days another location (close by) for periods of holiday cover for example. You will have a wide and varying case load, which means you will undertake a mixture of consulting and surgical days each week.
