Our client in North London require an additional veterinary surgeon to join their role in a mobile capacity. This will involve sharing time between around 10 locally accessible practices. Time will be spent working in practices of varying sizes with teams of varying interests. This is a great opportunity for candidates who like a regular change in scenery and those who want to work with a very large spread of interests. There will be occasions working in sole charge and occasions working in large hospitals.

Our client tend to recruit internally for large practice and hospital based roles, usually recruiting from the mobile vet team so this is an excellent foot in the door role.

Practices within the area are very well equipped and candidates will have access to equipment such as MRI and CT as well as a host of certificate holders across most disciplines.

Our client have industry leading packages and offer 4 day weeks as a standard with a share of the weekend rotas.

Our client in North London seek an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team. The existing vets hold certificates in Surgery and Imagining as well as interests in medicine. The practice is very well equipped with equipment levels that include: Digital X-ray Ultrasound Dental X-ray Inhouse lab Whilst there is very little sole charge, the practice is busy so interested candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience and be happy with routine medical and surgical cases. Certificates will be supported and funded. The practice is close to its large, sister hospital where cases can be referred and followed up. The rota is based around a 4 day week with 1:6 weekends. My client has a 5 vet team based in Central London. With a modern practice and great facilities such as tonometry, electrocautery blood pressure monitors and a large variety of dental kit, they deal with a varied caseload. This practice would offer a great location for an experienced vet who is seeking to live in Central London, close to train and transport links. Our client just outside Dulwich in South London are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. This is a busy practice with a diverse caseload and a 100% small animal focus, with all the usual equipment, digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, in house blood machines, multi parameter monitoring equipment and more. The role is full time (5 days x 8 hour shifts) plus every second Saturday morning (4 hours) but with no OOH. The team can offer a diverse caseload, beyond just routine ops and vaccinations, where clinical freedom and case follow through is encouraged plus interaction with the Clinical Director/colleagues where appropriate. The team is led by the Clinical Director plus three other vets and 3 RVN’s. The support staff include a VCA, auxiliary and student nurses and a receptionist. Two of the vets are currently studying Post Graduate Certificates in Surgery and Internal Medicine. The role would suit a vet with solid experience in first opinion practice. Must be RCVS registered. Previous exposure to non-routine cases would be great plus the ability to step up and take ownership of your caseload, deliver on time consults and ops, and have a great customer focus. Experience in consults, surgical (not just speys and neuters), dentals, Dicom enabled imaging (ultrasound) desirable but the team don't mind if you would get your colleagues involved in the trickier cases. Our client in South London have a vacancy for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a part time, 3 day per week basis. There will also be a requirement for 1:3 Saturdays. The time will be split between sole charge and working with the Partner in the practice so candidates must be comfortable with routine soft tissue surgery and medical cases. The practice is well equipped with digital X-Ray, dental X-Ray, ultrasound and endoscope. CPD is encouraged up to certificate level and will be supported in any discipline. An interest in surgery would be ideal, but not a pre-requisite. A package up to 50k (pro rata) will be offered depending upon experience. RCVS, VDS and BVA fees are funded by the client.

This multivet hospital have an excellent reputation locally and regularly take in orthopaedic referral cases. At well as being a three vet team there are also 4 nurses in the team with varying experience levels. The practice is very well equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, full lab etc etc. Our client are happy to pay upto 50k for candidates with 2-3 years practice experience and operate a four day working week with a fair share of weekends so work life balance is excellent. Our client is a truly independent practice based in North London near South Barnet. They are looking for two experienced additional vets to join their friendly team. The practice is based in a fantastic location with tube and train stations just 20 minutes’ walk away from the practice. Our client operate a very well established Tier 3 hospital. They are currently looking for a an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience. They will be comfortable with routine soft tissue surgery and medical cases. They will also be looking for a role which will allow them to develop their clinical skills to the next level. This is a large team with 3 other day vets and 7 nurses. The successful candidate will have an interest in diagnostics to work alongside the dedicated imaging vet. For candidates wishing to do an imaging certificate, this would be supported by out client and they see a full list of necessary cases. Equipment includes MRI and CT scanner.
