Mobile Veterinary Surgeon, 12 Months Experience, Central London

Our Central London client require a vet with around 12 months experience, so happy with small amounts of basic sole charge, routine neuters in cats and dogs, lump removals, dentals etc as well as managing their own medical workups.

Working across 4 sites the successful candidate will spend some time sole charge and some time with larger teams. It is expected that this role would develop into a fixed location position within 12 months. This could however happen sooner, or indeed later.

Practice equipment varies but you will have regular access to digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy etc.

The rota is based around a 4 day week with 1:3 Saturdays and the salary will be upto 45k.

Our client just outside Dulwich in South London are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. This is a busy practice with a diverse caseload and a 100% small animal focus, with all the usual equipment, digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, in house blood machines, multi parameter monitoring equipment and more. The role is full time (5 days x 8 hour shifts) plus every second Saturday morning (4 hours) but with no OOH. The team can offer a diverse caseload, beyond just routine ops and vaccinations, where clinical freedom and case follow through is encouraged plus interaction with the Clinical Director/colleagues where appropriate. The team is led by the Clinical Director plus three other vets and 3 RVN’s. The support staff include a VCA, auxiliary and student nurses and a receptionist. Two of the vets are currently studying Post Graduate Certificates in Surgery and Internal Medicine. The role would suit a vet with solid experience in first opinion practice. Must be RCVS registered. Previous exposure to non-routine cases would be great plus the ability to step up and take ownership of your caseload, deliver on time consults and ops, and have a great customer focus. Experience in consults, surgical (not just speys and neuters), dentals, Dicom enabled imaging (ultrasound) desirable but the team don't mind if you would get your colleagues involved in the trickier cases. Our client in South London have a vacancy for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a part time, 3 day per week basis. There will also be a requirement for 1:3 Saturdays. The time will be split between sole charge and working with the Partner in the practice so candidates must be comfortable with routine soft tissue surgery and medical cases. The practice is well equipped with digital X-Ray, dental X-Ray, ultrasound and endoscope. CPD is encouraged up to certificate level and will be supported in any discipline. An interest in surgery would be ideal, but not a pre-requisite. A package up to 50k (pro rata) will be offered depending upon experience. RCVS, VDS and BVA fees are funded by the client.
Our client based in the Wimbledon, South West London area have a vacancy for an experienced veterinary to join their team. This multivet hospital have an excellent reputation locally and regularly take in orthopaedic referral cases. At well as being a three vet team there are also 4 nurses in the team with varying experience levels. The practice is very well equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, full lab etc etc. Our client are happy to pay upto 50k for candidates with 2-3 years practice experience and operate a four day working week with a fair share of weekends so work life balance is excellent. Our client operate a very well established Tier 3 hospital. They are currently looking for a an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience. They will be comfortable with routine soft tissue surgery and medical cases. They will also be looking for a role which will allow them to develop their clinical skills to the next level. This is a large team with 3 other day vets and 7 nurses. There is very little sole charge and the rota is based on a 4 day week with 1/6 weekends. Our client is happy to pay up to 60k for candidates with the right level of experience.
Our client in South London would like a vet with 24 months or more experience to join them working across two locally positioned practices. One is a 24 hour hospital and the other a mullti vet practice with 4 vets including this vacancy. The 4 day week will be split equally between the two sites. The weekend rota is 1:6 working at the hospital. Team interests include include: Surgery ECC Opthalmology Cardiology Medicine A medical bias would be preferential, but not essential. Certificates will be encouraged and supported by out client and they have the caseload to support most interests.
