The friendly team consists of 4 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses and 3 Veterinary Receptionists. The team has extensive experience and the Veterinary Surgeons they have a keen interest in Acupuncture, cardiology, and Ophthalmology.

They are now an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join their long-established team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 6 Veterinary Nurses. Your time will be split between 1st opinion consultations and surgery. The current Veterinary Surgeons have many years of experience and are happy to support other less experienced vets.

Our client in Lincolnshire require an additional experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a part or full time basis. They can consider 7 on 7 of, 7 on 14 off or 7 on 21 off, whichever best suits the candidate. The successful candidate will work with a team of nurses and provide OOH's care for the local area so most nights a busy. The practice is very well equipped with everything required to provide exceptional car. Our client would be happy to support certificates for those interested. If candidates are currently studying towards a certificate and are tied into funding agreements, our client would be happy to but these agreements out.
Progressive practice based in Lincoln require a new vet to join the partners in practice. They are looking for someone who is proactive and confident with both medicine and surgery. They look after their team and work is structured to ensure a good lunch hour and on time finishing, in the event that this doesn’t happen they operate an overtime system. They work with 15 minute consults and book many to 30 mins to give enough time to work up cases and have clinical freedom. The vacancy is for a full time vet to work 4 days a week with 1:3 weekends shared between the vets, they are also happy to consider other flexible hours and are generous with CPD up to certificate level. Our client would like a confident veterinary surgeon to join them. This role would involve mentoring a newly qualified veterinary surgeon so applicants must be happy with most routine cases both surgical and medical. Orthopaedics are not required as these can can be covered locally, however candidates interested in this area are welcome to apply. Our client will welcome candidates wanting to start certificates, part way through certificates or indeed, completed. They will fund training and will also buy out existing training agreements if they are a barrier to candidates applying for new roles. The practice located in a lovely village 20 minutes from Lincoln was recently refurbished and is equipped to a high standard with digital x-ray, ultrasound and full labs. They have all the equipment needed to provide a full first opinion service. They are also happy to provide additional funding for specific equipment vets feel they need. Th rota is based around 4 full days with 1:3 Saturdays. This is a wonderful friendly independent practice in a large town and port in the county of North East Lincolnshire, within 10 mins of the both the beach and the harbour. Our client in this beautiful central Lincolnshire village would like to welcome a new veterinary surgeon to their team. They are happy to consider applications from full time (4 days plus a share of weekends) or Part time (candidate specified) applications. Candidates will work between the main practice and the smaller branch. The role is based predominantly at the main hospital however it will also include some branch work. There is a large and varied case load of both medical and surgical cases, and you would have clinical freedom. The practice has a spacious, well equipped hospital and three satellite branches. The current team have vets who have completed or are studying towards further qualifications in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, ECC, and ophthalmology. Cases are discussed daily at clinical rounds and support is always available. The hospital has recently been extended and is well equipped with top class imaging (digital x-ray, CT scanner, ultrasound, video endoscope including laparoscopic kit), a wide range of surgical and orthopaedic equipment including Ex-fix and TTA kits, four sterile theatres, dental x-ray, ECG, tonopen and slit lamp, Class 4 laser, extensive lab, spacious dog and cat kennels and a large isolation area. Each branch has biochem, haematology, UA and microscope, a sterile theatre, with imaging available. The role would be split between consulting, operating, work ups, hospital/inpatient care and out of hours duties. Sole charge will be required during out of hours and occasionally during branch shifts. There is a high orthopaedic caseload through the practice, and there would be room for another surgeon to develop their skills in this area. Equally an interest in imaging would be encouraged. Postgraduate studies in all areas are encouraged and supported. The position is for 42 hours per week, weekends on a 1:4 rota and OOH’s which normally equates to 7 nights over a 12 week period. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated vet with some experience. You will be skilled at communicating with clients and colleagues and share our passion for excellent client and patient care. Our client in North Lincolnshire would like to recruit an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate will work across 6 different practices, 4 days per week with 1/6 weekends. Ideal candidates will have about 12 months experience and will be comfortably carrying routine neuters and other basic surgeries along with a solid medical knowledge. This is a development role, allowing you to work with the entire, large team of vets, in different environment with a huge array of equipment. There will also be occasions of sole charge, further developing your confidence. Our client have an opportunity for a full time RCVS registered vet to join their busy 7.5-vet companion animal practice in Lincolnshire. The main site is an RCVS Accredited Hospital in a recently renovated, updated and well equipped building, located in rural surroundings just outside a charming village between Grimsby and the market town of Louth in Lincolnshire and near the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB and seaside. Good road links make it accessible and convenient for several international airports and property prices are reasonable and schools are of a high standard. The branch, accredited to RCVS Core Standards, offers consultations and routine operations and the vets are a very experienced and supportive team; group discussion about cases is encouraged. They are supported by an experienced nursing and administrative team in order to provide 24 hour care for all patients. This includes a rota for the nurses to provide on-site cover overnight to care for hospitalised patients and assist the duty vet with emergency calls. The team offer high quality veterinary services for both medical and surgical cases, as well as preventative health clinics. They can offer orthopaedic referral services including hip replacement, laparoscopic services including spays, Cat-Friendly clinics (they have been appointed a Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic), 15 minute consultations, a wonderful large airy waiting room and four bright consulting rooms, a laboratory with new lab machines, separate cat and dog wards and isolation units, 2 sterile operating theatres, a digital xray suite, a separate dental suite with digital dental xray facilities, plus an ultrasound machine, endoscope, laparoscopic equipment, digital Xray and dental digital Xray plus a seperate comfortable staff roomn and staff flat. This is a full time permanent position working 4 days per week with 1 weeknight duty on a shared rota and 1 in 7 weekend duty with day off following the weekend worked.
