Being a single vet branch site, this is a great opportunity for a vet with 2-3 years experience, who is interested in not only clinical work but also practice leadership to step up. Our client will support candidates clinically as required but also support them in the area of management/leadership which is likely to be a new skill. They will also take away many of the headaches that can be a roadblock to providing great care and service. Things like hiring, holidays, rotas, buying etc are all handled by the support team. This allows the lead vet to focus on vetting, team development and client service.
The practice is a well equipped first opinion practice with everything candidates need to provide an excellent level of first opinion care. In addition, there is a larger sister hospital for complex referrals and clinical support as required.
Our client have certificate holders in most areas and are therefor happy to support and fund certificates in most small animal disciplines.
The successful candidate will enjoy a 4 day week, exceptional salary, generous CPD up to certificate level, 5 weeks holiday, professional fees paid.
My client has a 5 vet team based in Central London. With a modern practice and great facilities such as tonometry, electrocautery blood pressure monitors and a large variety of dental kit, they deal with a varied caseload. They are growing the business and would like to add both a senior and a junior vet.
This practice would offer a great location for an experienced vet who is seeking to live in Central London, close to train and transport links. They have previously been nominated in the practice and vet of the year awards.
The ideal senior candidate will work either full or part time and will be experienced in routine practice, this role would suit someone looking to take a step up, and help to support the lesser experienced members of the team.
The junior vet would ideally have 12 months experience in practice
You must be comfortable with autonomous working as there will be periods of sole charge but no out of hours. Weekends are worked on a 1:3 basis
The client can offer development and progression for vets who are looking to further any specific personal interests. You would be surrounded by a great team who are passionate about animal care and you will feel the same.
