Our client based in Hampshire are looking for an experienced equine vet to join their practice on a full time, permanent basis.

The experienced team of 4 Vets are looking for an ambitious and proactive Equine vet who has an interest in sports horse medicine and orthopaedics. You will play an integral role in the ongoing expansion of the practice and must be confident and competent in your abilities. You must pride yourself on being a good team player whilst also keen on developing your own career.

The team believe in working hard and playing hard and can offer a competitive salary or between 40,000 -50,000 commensurate with experience. You will also benefit from a generous annual leave allowance of 33 days including bank holidays and an excellent CPD allowance of 1750-2500 / 5-8 allotted days and certificate study encouraged and incentivised.

There is currently a quiet out of hours rota of 1:5, including a day in lieu following a weekend on call, however a new Out of Hours service is likely to significantly improve this rota for 2022.

The practice is located on the edge of the South Downs National Park and is easily commutable from Winchester, Alton, Eastleigh and Southampton.
