They are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of a couple of years experience to join them. They are a two vet practice and ideal candidates will have an interest in surgery to compliment other practice interests.

For vets looking to start or complete certificates, this can be supported, both with access to caseload and funding.

The rota is based around a 4 day week with 1 in 6 full weekends.

This Surrey practice, commutable from the areas around Leatherhead, Epsom, Sutton and Chessington, is looking for a vet with 12 months experience upwards to join them in their growing practice. They have a certificate holder in surgery and caseload includes orthopedics and soft tissue surgery. Ideally they are looking for someone who may have an interest in medicine, imaging or exotics but this is not essential as the team would welcome other disciplines too. Our North London client are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to head up this branch practice. Partnership is available for candidates interested in ownership. This is a sole charge role working 4 days per week so will be attractive to confident vets who who like to stamp their own mark on their practices. Taking a lead role in clinical standards, developing team members and driving client satisfaction. Being a small practice, it is likely that candidates looking for their forst lead role will be interested in role. As such support will be offered with all non clinical aspects of the position. There will also be support readily available for new clinical cases if required and internal referrals are readily available. The practice is a well equipped first opinion practice with all the equipment required to deliver a great service. The weekend rota is 1/6. This is a well equipped team with good caseload based in the Thames estuary and close to Greenwich Ideally they would like to recruit a small animal vet with some experience of surgery and the confidence to interact with customers with a calm and pleasant manner, however this team are supportive and experienced with plenty of knowledge to pass onto recent small animal graduates with 12 months experience upwards, or are able to support further advancement for vets with experience. They are well equipped and have a good standing in the community with an excellent reputation locally. This is a great opportunity to join a 2 vet practice in the heart of London. This practice is close to: Islington Cricklewood Marble Arch Regents Park Hampstead Heath Maida Vale The successful candidate will spend their time split 50/50 between surgery and consultations and will be happy with their own clinical judgments and be competent in basic/routine surgical procedures, certainly happy with spays and castrations. Candidate are expected to have 1-2 years experience. There will be minimal sole charge. The rota is based around a 4 day week with 1 in 6 weekends. This is a well equipped practice equipment such as Digital X-Ray, new ultrasound, The package will be up to 50k with a generous CPD package, paid VDS, paid RCVS and paid BVA
Our client in Central London are looking for an experienced vet to join them in a Lead Vet capacity. There is also the opportunity to join them as a partner if that is of interest. The practice is very well equipped and boast a CT scanner as part of its impressive equipment list. In addition they have a new state of the art ultrasound and digital X-Ray so candidates with an interest in imaging would be particularly suited to this role or indeed orthopaedic vets who regularly require access to CT would also excel here. The lead vet role involves mentorship of the other 2 vets and nurses, providing first rate clinical care and well as helping to drive the performance of the practice by delivering great customer service. Support is available clinically, but also from a management perspective too. It is envisaged that this may be many candidates first experience in Lead Vet capacity. A package in excess of 60k will be offered for this role, which, if the partnership option is taken will also include addition profit related pay. The rota will be based on a 4 day week with 1/3 Saturdays. Being in Central London, this practice is easily accessible by tube from most areas.
Our client in Central London are looking for an addition veterinary surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate should be happy with many routine soft tissue surgical procedures as well as managing their own medical caseload. The role involves working across two, well equipped first opinion practices. There is only minimal sole charge, usually on the 1/6 weekends, but as the practices are quite busy, applicants should be confident enough to work at a sole charge level. It goes without saying that support id readily available for more complex cases, or for those cases candidates have never experienced. The generous package includes a salary 40-50k which is dependent upon skill base, VDS, RCVS and BVA memberships. In addition, a generous CPD budget in both time an value is offered. The rota is based around a 4 day week with time split between both practices. The base practice is superbly equipped with onsite CT, state of teh art ultasound and digital X-ray Close to Farringdon, The Angel Islington, Pentonville and other Central London Locations so very easy to travel to by tube, however a car can be provided.

The successful candidate will happy with a good number of soft tissue surgical procedures as a well being comfortable with medical cases and happy to work alone as and when required. Two of the practices have lead vets who are totally focussed on vet development so this is a great location to further your skills and start to work towards a funded certificate if this was of interest. Being in such a great, central location, the practices are easily commutable to and from: Hampstead Heath Kentish Town Mayfair Regents Park Chalk Farm Finchley Islington The practices are well equipped small animal sites with digital x-ray, ultrasound and full labs. The rota is an average of 39 hours with 1/6 weekends. There is also a requirement to support the OOH's provider for around 3 weeks per year as second on call to support during extremely busy periods or holidays. Our client are offering a salary up-to 45k with VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid as well as a generous CPD budget and paid time off to attend CPD.
Our Client in West London have a vacancy for a veterinary surgeon who is comfortable with routine surgeries and medical cases. Whilst this is a multi vet practice so sole charge will be very minimal, applicants need to be at level of skill and confidence where they could happily work sole charge. The successful candidate will work in a 3 vet team, over 4 days with a very light on weekend rota. Our South London hospital client would like to recruit an experienced veterinary surgeon, with an interest in medicine, ultrasound and ECG to join their time. Ideally this would be a certificate holder or someone close to completing their certificate. This large 24 hour hospital has a huge and varied caseload and the successful candidate will take in referrals from local practices as well as the the host hospital. The larger vet team is 7 strong including the night team with interests in: Orthopaedics Radiography Rehabilitation Feline and canine medicine Cardiology Oncology The successful candidate will work a 4 day week with a very light weekend requirement.
Our client in South London require an experienced small animal vet to join them in a maternity cover capacity. The successful candidate will be happy with most small animal surgery (soft tissue) as well as working up their own medical caseload. This is a 2 vet practice so will involve some sole charge and some time working in the other vet in the practice. The rota is full time working 4 days per week with 1/6 weekend rota. The contract is for a minimum of 6 months but could be extended.
This well established client in North East London are looking to recruit a part time/full time permanent vet, minimum of 30 hours per week. The team are looking for an experienced vet, with at least 2 years small animal experience, to come onboard and help them to distribute the workload more evenly across the team as they grow. Currently a 3.5 vet practice they are looking to replace the hours of two vets who have recently gone part time and they want to balance the team better. This is very much a first opinion practice, working up some cases in house but they do refer more complex cases as the team don't do their own out of hours or have overnight care. The team are happy to support an individual's interests whether that is surgery, medicine or even exotics. They currently have a vet who loves dentals and have a dental x-ray. They can help ensure the case variety works for you whatever your interest is and currently have a small exotics caseload which they could easily expand if someone was interested in that area. Working hours are spread over 3-5 days with a flexible rota. Shifts vary from 8-5pm, 10-7pm and 8-2pm. You will be given time for admin during the day and at the end of the day and the team value leaving on time as much as possible. The Saturday rota is 1 in 3 and only 8am-2pm with 2 vets working. There are no OOH's with this role and sole charge is kept to a minimum. The successful candidate will enjoy a salary between 36-46k FTE (based on a 40 hour week) and dependent upon experience, you will also be entitled to 6.6 weeks holiday (inc Bank Hols) and your birthday off. Accommodation can be available above the practice in the short-term for anyone looking to relocate to the area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly team at a long-established Small Animal Hospital on the outskirts of London in Zone 5. This busy, Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and branches need a keen and enthusiastic Vet to join the team of 12 Vets. There is an experienced and highly supportive team in place, including certificate holders in medicine and cardiology and two other vets are in the process of studying for further qualifications.This role will be split mainly between the fully equipped surgery in Enfield and the main hospital in Barnet, with some work at other branches. The fantastic team which consists of experienced Vet Surgeons, enthusiastic New Graduate Vets, wonderful VNs and a fantastic support team work closely together and all believe in supporting each other. This is a full time position at the main hospital site, however there may also be occasional cover needed at other branches so you must be able to demonstrate a flexible working approach. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in General Practice and be passionate about first opinion work with good communication skills and confidence in general surgery. As this is working within one of the area’s leading hospitals 24 hour hospitals the position will include some of out of hours. There will be a nurse onsite providing excellent care for inpatients overnight and they answer out of hours phone calls. You will be on call one night each week and 1 weekend in 6 (with time off in lieu after weekend duties).
