Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with an interest in Medicine

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon at a Hospital site in the beautiful Cotswolds, close to Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath.

This friendly, high standard first opinion practice with hospital status bridges the gap between standard first opinion and referral institutions by fully working up medical cases and carrying out advanced surgical procedures.

The hospital is well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, echocardiography and wet biochemistry lab with lab technician. Weekly veterinary team meetings to discuss cases and further understanding including presentations by a referral clinician. They are supported by a local referral hospital nearby where CT and advice is readily available.

The team of 10 vets are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work in this friendly, relaxed and supportive team. This position would ideally suit a candidate with an interest in medicine. Vets work a 1 in 5 weekend rota.
The team includes certificate holders and those currently working towards certificates.

This client are looking for the successful candidate to start in Autumn 2019 after one their vets has moved on. They encourage and support development of your personal aspirations as part of a progressive and experienced medical and surgical team. Competitive salary package. CPD is actively encouraged and generously funded. Package includes 5 week flexible holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off every year. Generous days in lieu after weekend working. Our client in Cheltenham require an additional veterinary surgeon to join their multi vet team. The successful candidate will be comfortable to with routine surgeries and medical case. The role involves working across two sites in the Cheltenham area and a vehicle can be provided if required. The practices are very well equipped with: Digital X-Ray Ultrasound multipara monitor endoscopy Thr rota involves a 4 day week with 1:4 half days on saturdays. There are no OOH's with this role.

Our client is seeking a part time Veterinary Surgeon to join them at their practice near Bristol. The practice is fortunate to be based in a spacious, recently refurbished Edwardian house with a large garden at the rear and on-site cattery/grooming parlour. The role would be sole charge, working alongside a small team of excellent support staff. The clients are lovely and you would be encouraged to build up your own client base, working up your own cases and booking in procedures. Our independent client in Gloucestershire have a vacancy for a small animal veterinary surgeon in one of their branch practices. The role would be sole charge and the rota would encompass a 3 day week, followed by a 4 day week including Saturday ideally. The larger team within the group is made up of 13 vets and 13 nurses o lots of clinical support to discuss caseload etc. CPD will be offered in any small animal discipline upto certificate level if that is of interest. There are no OOH's with this role. Practice equipment include; Video endoscope Video otoscope Bronchoscopy Rhinoscopy Orthopaedic suite Dental suite Untrasound and Digital X-ray There is also a regular, visiting Diplomat in diagnostic imaging.
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join a dedicated team working across 4 branches in the Gloucester area. The main hub of the practices is the redeveloped modern clinic on the outskirts of Gloucester city centre with separate cat and dog wards and intensive care facilities for the critical cases. On site is a fully equipped lab, imaging suite including state of the art digital x-ray machine, endoscope and ultrasound machine. The practice have an extensive range of surgical equipment and expertise to be able to use this to it’s full potential. The team are looking for a candidate capable of sole charge to allow full coverage of the rota across the 4 branches, all within close proximity. This is a full time position working 9-7pm with morning consults 9-10:30am and evening consults 5-7pm with ops 11-2pm, sometimes longer if emergencies. They have no on-call OOH and minimal weekends.
