Our client based just outside of Gloucester are looking for full and part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons to join their team on a permanent basis.
This large, RCVS Accredited Hospital are looking to expand their dedicated Small Animal Team of 20 Vets. The role is based at the main hospital, which boasts state-of-the-art facilities, and the support of experienced Vets with wide ranging clinical interests, and on-site OOH team providing 24-hour care to our patients.
The team have high standards of care, and are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join their fun group working 4-day weeks, 1 weekend in 4 with days off in lieu, with a varied caseload. As a team, they are striving to provide the best possible care for all patients, their owners, and colleagues.
This is an exciting time to join this client as they grow and develop their Hospital to include enhanced facilities, such as additional operating theatres, consulting rooms, separate cat, dog and exotic wards, treatment rooms and a dedicated bereavement room.
They also have the exciting addition of a new imaging equipment to compliment the existing digital X-ray machine, endoscopy, ultrasound and a full on-site comprehensive laboratory.
All this means that he team are able to grow their busy orthopaedics work and offer patients and clients the very best service all in house.
The group even have their own dedicated Night Team allowing them to provide 24 hour care.

Our practice currently has 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 4 Receptionists, and 2 Veterinary Surgeons with a 3rd also on maternity leave.
As the Clinical Director will have overall clinical leadership and responsibility to drive this practice forward and into the future, this includes vet mentoring, vet rotas, and associated admin time. You will also have budget responsibility and accountability. The out of hours is currently provided externally. The current shift pattern includes working Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is up to 75,000 depending on experience. Ideally you will be an experienced clinician with the drive and ambition to push this fabulous clinic forward. Proven management and leadership skills are required.

Our client is a 3-branch practice based on the Southside of Glasgow, ideal for either city-based living or more rural lifestyles. They are now looking for a Full Time Small Animal Vet to join them.
The team consists of 16 vets, fantastic nurses, ANA’s, receptionists and an administration department. They have 3 certificate holders in medicine and surgery, with another working towards an ophthalmology certificate. Many of the vets have individual areas of interest, which means there is always someone to offer advice on a challenging case.
This is ideally a full-time position, however flexible and part-time applicants will also be considered. They have a high and varied surgical caseload covering small animals, small furries, and some exotics. The role can also accommodate a vet looking to work solely within consulting shifts for those who prefer to avoid operating. You would be working between all 3 branches. Working over 5 days Monday-Friday, 3:8 Saturdays – day off in lieu the preceding week, no OOH and no Sunday shifts. Salary up to 50,000 negotiable and competitive DOE.
You must be RCVS registered and qualified and ideally have some experience working in small animal practice. CPD is encouraged and funded as well as further certification opportunities available.
